The American Adventure is a thirty-minute animatronic stage show in World Showcase with no height requirement, air-conditioned, with a seat for everyone. It is the longest sit-down at EPCOT and the animatronics are among the most sophisticated Disney has built.

When to ride

What it’s actually like

The Voices of Liberty perform a cappella in the rotunda before most shows and are worth arriving early for — many people rate them above the show itself.

You sit still throughout. Loud in places, with some sombre historical content covering war and slavery. No motion beyond the stage. Nothing frightening, though younger children find the length hard.
