The short answer

Ghirardelli Soda Fountain is famous for its hot fudge sundaes, $19.50 for the World Famous Hot Fudge Sundae and up to $25.50 for the banana split. It is at a temporary spot in Town Center, next to Pandora Jewelry, while its Marketplace home is refurbished; Disney says that reopens in 2027.

Is it worth the money?

Shared between two, a $19.50 sundae is reasonable; for one person it is a lot of money. The Disney Food Blog has reviewed its sundaes for years and still calls it a winner. Check the temporary location before you go.

Sharing a big hot fudge sundae, and hot cocoa on a cold evening.

A quick cheap cone: Häagen-Dazs and Salt & Straw are cheaper per person.

What is actually good

Sundaes: the World Famous Hot Fudge Sundae and five others at $19.50; the Magical and Strawberry Passion sundaes $22.50; a non-dairy hot fudge sundae $23.50; and the cookie crumble, salted caramel brownie and Golden Gate banana split at $25.50. A mini hot fudge sundae is $16.50.
