The short answer

Kabuki Cafe is the snack stand in EPCOT's Japan pavilion, known for kakigori, Japanese shaved ice with syrups imported from Japan, from $6.50. It also sells sushi rolls from $10.50 and an A5 wagyu nigiri combo at $16.50, and for adults, sake slushies at $13 and Japanese beer.

Is it worth the money?

Yes, for the kakigori on a hot day. Sunshine Whispers (July 2026) calls it fun and refreshing and one of the easiest snack recommendations in EPCOT, and the sushi good supermarket-quality rolls that will not leave you overfull.

Who it’s right for

A cheap, cold snack in the heat, and a light bite of sushi between pavilions.

A full sushi dinner. Shiki-Sai, Teppan Edo and Takumi-Tei are Japan's sit-down restaurants.

What is actually good

Kakigori from $6.50: one flavour for $6.50, two for $7, or the rainbow for $7.50, in lemon, Blue Hawaii, melon, strawberry and Kyoho grape, with toppings such as sweet milk and coconut crème from $2.

The sushi is a California roll or spicy roll at $12.50, a vegetable roll at $10.50, the Tokyo sushi combo at $14.50 and the A5 wagyu nigiri combo at $16.50.
