Monsieur Paul

The short answer

The Bocuse family's fine-dining room upstairs in EPCOT's France pavilion: one prix fixe at $195 per adult, plus tax and gratuity. That is the same $195 it charged when it reopened on 18 October 2022, so the price has not moved in almost four years. Roughly $247 a head once tax and a 20% tip are added.

Is it worth the money?

For a milestone dinner with people who love French cooking, yes. As a treat on a normal EPCOT day, it is a lot of money for the one room in World Showcase without a view of the park's energy.

The real number is about $247 a head. $195, plus Orange County's 6.5% tax, plus a 20% tip on the menu price. A couple should budget around $493 before a bottle of wine.

The price has not moved since 2022. The Disney Food Blog reported $195 per adult on 14 October 2022, four days before the restaurant reopened after being closed since March 2020. Disney's menu reads $195 today. Almost nothing else at Walt Disney World has held its price flat for four years.

It is the Bocuse name, not a Disney concept. The restaurant is named for Paul Bocuse, known in France as Monsieur Paul, who founded Les Chefs de France downstairs with Gaston Lenôtre and Roger Vergé. He died in January 2018. His son Jérôme Bocuse runs both rooms. The sea bass in puff pastry is a nod to Paul Bocuse's own classic.

Check the rules before you book. - Age. Guests must be 10 or older, so a family with a younger child cannot come as a group at all. - Cancellation. There is a $100 per person fee for a no-show or for cancelling within 72 hours. - Seating times. Dinner runs 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. That rules out the evening fireworks unless you plan around it. - Park ticket. It sits inside EPCOT, so you need valid park admission to eat here.

Who it’s right for

Couples and adult groups marking an occasion. French-food people who want the Bocuse repertoire rather than a Disney version of it. Anyone already in EPCOT who wants the most serious meal inside a park. Anyone who likes a fixed price and no decisions.

Who it’s wrong for

Families with children under 10, who are not admitted. Vegetarians, who have no choice at the fish or meat course without arranging it in advance. Anyone not already buying an EPCOT ticket that day. And anyone who would rather spend $247 a head on a meal they can see the fireworks from.

What is actually good

Read from Disney's own menu on 12 September 2026.

One menu, one price: the Menu Dégustation at $195 per adult, plus tax and gratuity. There is no à la carte list. It runs in this order:

A starter cocktail and amuse-bouche. Then a choice of two hors d'oeuvres: beetroot in several textures with an aromatic vegetable broth, or a saffron mussel soup.

A choice of two fish courses. Sea bass baked in puff pastry with sauce Choron, which the menu calls Monsieur Paul's own dish, or seared scallops with a maple and pumpkin velouté. Then a Trou Normand to clear the palate.

A choice of two meat courses. Chicken fricassee with morels, served with rice pilaf and black truffles, or rack of lamb roasted in a cocotte with cabbage stuffed with wild mushrooms and chestnuts.

An imported cheese plate, a choice of two desserts, and mignardises. The desserts are a milk-chocolate sphere with a warm chocolate-Cognac sauce, or a thin apple tart with almond cream and vanilla ice cream.

Disney bands it $$$$, "over $60 per adult". Here the band tells you almost nothing: the only price on the menu is $195.

Portions

Tasting-menu portions across roughly seven servings, from the amuse-bouche to the mignardises. Nobody leaves hungry, but nothing is large. Disney asks guests to allow at least two hours, and that is a floor.

Allergies and dietary needs

Hard, and it is worth saying so plainly. The menu is fixed. There are two choices at each of four courses and no vegetarian choice at the fish or meat stage. Disney says the kitchen can accommodate many dietary needs if you flag them at booking, and the page asks for exactly that. Do it then, not at the table — a $195 menu with two courses you cannot eat is a bad evening.
