Is it worth the money?
Once, for the room. The lift 'ascent', the windows and the space-station conceit are executed beautifully and there is nothing else like it. But $79 a head at dinner for competent food makes this a set-piece rather than a meal, and almost nobody books it twice. There is a lounge area that takes limited walk-ups — worth trying if the reservation fails, since you get the same view for the price of a drink.
Who it’s right for
Anyone who wants to eat somewhere they have never eaten before. The lift ascent, the windows and the space-station conceit are executed better than the concept deserves, and it is the most photographed dining room at EPCOT.
Who it’s wrong for
Anyone going back a second time, and anyone who resents paying prix fixe prices for the setting. The food is competent rather than memorable, and once the novelty of the ascent has gone there is little to return for.
What is actually good
Prix fixe at both meals, on Disney's menu of 14 September 2026: $55 per adult at lunch for a main and dessert, with starters extra at $14 to $19, and $79 at dinner for a starter, main and dessert, plus tax and gratuity. At dinner the whole stuffed lobster is $22 more and the 24oz rib-eye $20 more. Children are $29 at lunch and $35 at dinner. The food is good rather than remarkable and the price is about the room, which is the honest version of what you are buying.
Portions
Two or three courses depending on the tier chosen. Portions are restaurant-normal, not Disney-generous, which surprises people expecting a buffet-sized experience for the price.
Allergies and dietary needs
Allergy-friendly menus are available and a chef will discuss the prix fixe options. The fixed format limits flexibility more than an à la carte menu would.

- Sixty days ahead at 6:00am Eastern, and it goes almost immediately. There is also a lounge that accepts a small number of walk-ups, which is the realistic route in if a reservation never appears — same view, drinks and small plates rather than the prix fixe.
- Is Space 220 worth the price?
- For the room, once. The setting is extraordinary and the food is merely good, so at $79 a head at dinner you are buying a set-piece rather than a meal — and lunch is the same room at $55. Very few people book it a second time.
