The short answer

The Polite Pig is a barbecue counter in Town Center at Disney Springs, by the Lime Garage: sandwiches $12 to $15, smoked plates $18 to $26 and a $44 butcher board for two. You order at the counter and a server brings the food to your table. It was selected for the 2026 MICHELIN Guide.

Is it worth the money?

Good, at close to table-service prices. Resorts Gal calls it an elevated counter whose prices are similar to table service, and the 2026 MICHELIN Guide says it stands out among the shops and restaurants of Disney Springs (via WDW News Today). The sandwiches, at $12 to $15, are the value order.

Who it’s right for

Barbecue fans, and anyone arriving from the Lime Garage who wants a proper meal without a reservation.

Who it’s wrong for

Anyone expecting counter-service prices for the plates, and anyone on the 2027 Dining Plan until Disney confirms it.

What is actually good

USDA Prime Brisket at $22 and Layla's Ribs at $26 lead the smoked plates; the pork shoulder, cheddar brats and smoked turkey are $18, the half chicken $19 and the cedar plank salmon $26. Resorts Gal says an entrée comes with one market side and slaw.

Sandwiches are $12 to $15 — the Low & Slow Brisket $15, the Southern Pig $13 — and the Butcher Board for two is $44. Market sides are $6 each, among them BBQ cauliflower, crispy Brussels sprouts, grilled street corn and sweet potato tots. Starters: the hop salt pretzel $10, BBQ meatballs $13, glazed wings $16. Portions

Resorts Gal found the brisket plate plenty for two with an upgraded side. Kids' plates — a smoked pork slider, chicken tenders or sliced smoked turkey — are $9.

Allergies and dietary needs

Roasted beets, BBQ cauliflower and the tomato and watermelon salad are among the vegetable sides, and there are two salads. Disney's menu service lists no allergy-friendly versions, so ask at the counter.
