Activity and dining booking opens between 75 and 123 days before you sail by Castaway Club tier — and 130 days by telephone if you are in a Concierge stateroom — and which end you get depends on how many Disney cruises you have already taken. That is a 48-day spread, and it is why the Castaway Cay cabanas look sold out the moment a first-time cruiser’s window finally opens.

Concierge is not a Castaway Club tier, which is why it sits apart: it is a stateroom category and it overrides whatever tier you hold. Its 130-day window is by telephone only. Disney opens activity booking to Concierge guests 130 days out through the Shoreside Concierge Services team, and online booking at 123 days — the same day Pearl gets. If you wait for the website at 130 days, nothing will be there.
What sells out, in the order it goes
Knowing your window opens at 75 days is no use without knowing what has already gone by then. Book down this list, not across your whole wishlist.
- Castaway Cay cabanas — The hardest booking on the ship. Frequently gone before a first-time cruiser’s window even opens.
- Palo and Palo Steakhouse — Brunch on sea days goes first, then formal-night dinner.
- Remy / Enchanté — Only on some ships, and only a handful of tables a night.
- Beverage tastings — Small groups, and they run once or twice a sailing.
- Character meets with limited capacity — Frozen and princess meets go quickly on family sailings.
- Spa cabanas and Rainforest Room passes — Sea days first.
What each tier actually gets you
- Silver — Members-only booking window and a welcome gift.
- Gold — Earlier activity window; members-only reception onboard.

- Between 75 and 123 days before you sail, depending on your Castaway Club tier. First-time cruisers book at 75 days, Silver at 90, Gold at 105, Platinum at 120 and Pearl at 123. Everything that sells out is booked from the morning your window opens. Concierge guests are the exception, and it is two windows rather than one: 130 days by telephone through Shoreside Concierge Services, but 123 days online — the same day Pearl gets. A flat "130 days" is the figure everyone else prints, and it only works if you ring.

- Thirty to forty days before sailing, again by tier: first-timers at 30 days, Silver 33, Gold 35, Platinum 38 and Pearl 40. Check-in sets your port arrival time and boarding follows that order, so it decides whether lunch happens onboard or in the terminal.
