Every factual correction we have made, newest first: what a page said, what it says now, and where the right answer came from. 55 so far. Corrections are not embarrassing; undisclosed ones are.
Restaurant pages no longer contradict their own price panel, or compare a set menu with entrées.
Le Cellier's verdict said "around $72 a head" twice beside a $80 typical-spend panel, and Beaches & Cream's $32 beside $34; both now match the panel, which comes from Disney's menu (Cinderella's Royal Table in rows 313 and later; Be Our Guest checked, $72 in both).
Three editorial-standards claims now match what the site does.
"The site flags pages automatically as their verification window lapses" was true nowhere; guides and cruise guides now show a "Due for a re-check" notice once their newest source or figure is older than their own re-verify window (none is overdue on 24 September 2026), and the sentence now says guides.
Smaller DCL fixes.
Lookout Cay's "Mangos & Go" was changed to "Mangroves & Go" from Disney's directory; row 340 corrects that in turn, since Disney's own island page says "Mangos & Go", and the guide now gives all three spellings. /where-are-the-ships/ said the feed had "shown us one ship out of eight" beneath a table showing four heard within six hours; the 8…
The AIS figures agree across pages and with the database.
Read from ship_positions on 24 September 2026: the MarineCadastre archive holds 403,623 fixes (1 January 2024 to 31 March 2026), not the 403,881 the Castaway Cay page printed; and in the same 8 km berth boxes the port-call builder uses, Lookout Cay has 109 fixes and Castaway Cay 3,841, with 3,263 of them under 1.5 knots.
Maps no longer plot a closed restaurant.
The guide's map drew Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill as open table service after its 13 September 2026 closure, because the markers come from OpenStreetMap, which lags. src/lib/closedVenues.ts holds dated closures with their source, and all four map-drawing routes filter through it.
The Disney Springs guide's parking advice was wrong, and now rests on Disney's own map.
It said the Orange garage "lands you nearest Town Center and Marketplace".
A closure already under way is no longer dated to our sweep.
/planning/whats-closed/ printed "closed from 17 September 2026" (the day we read Disney's data) above Disney's own quoted "Starting September 9, 2026…" on the same row.
Early Entry no longer vanishes on party nights.
ThemeParks.wiki types both "Early Entry" and "Special Ticketed Event" as TICKETED_EVENT, and park_schedules was unique on park, date, type and source, so on a party night one upserted over the other: Magic Kingdom on 25 September 2026 held the party and no Early Entry.
Both water park guides rewritten from Disney's own pages and dated outlets, read 24 September 2026.
Corrected: Blizzard Beach's height table lacked Slush Gusher's 48 inches and Typhoon Lagoon's lacked Ketchakiddee Creek's 48-inch maximum; both pages gave the general property cooler rule instead of Disney's water-park rule (no loose or dry ice, glass or alcohol; reusable ice packs allowed); Summit Plummet's speed was presented as agreed when TouringPlans says 60 mph and WDWMagic 55 (both now…
Cinderella's Royal Table's price agrees with Disney.
The page said "around $95" in its answer box, verdict and FAQ, and $89 in its typical-spend field.
Caribbean Beach's village advice was backwards, and its occupancy field said five.
The page sent Skyliner users to Martinique and Trinidad and called Jamaica one of the longest walks.
Two restaurant counts that did not reconcile.
The reservations lede counted 98 + 5 + 5 of 196 and left 88 unsaid; it now names the fourth group ("take no reservations at all"), so the four add to the total, and calls them restaurants, not sit-down restaurants.
Dumbo's page no longer gives three lengths.
The answer box said about ninety seconds and the FAQ two minutes.
The EPCOT guide names the free fast line on two of its three top-group picks, and seven ride records stop saying Disney lists six single rider attractions.
Test Track and Remy's have single rider lines (Disney, read 24 September 2026; Disney Tourist Blog makes it central to its EPCOT advice); the guide now says so and points a party that will split up at Frozen Ever After instead.
Every price in the Lightning Lane cluster now has a tax basis, and the park guides' own-record prices are cross-checked.
The prices page states that its figures are before tax, with Orange County's 6.5% (Florida 6% plus a 0.5% surtax, DR-15DSS) and a worked example.
The which-rides guide's title says what its figures are.
It now reads "Which rides are actually worth a Lightning Lane, from 2025 and 2026 posted waits", the Queue-Times years its tables average, instead of implying a live answer.
The best-time guide's crowd bands contradicted our own index in five months, and now print the index instead.
The guide's "Crowds" column carried published-calendar bands: January "Mixed", February "Low–moderate", June "High", December "Extreme".
Two holiday pages were out of date, one of them on access.
The gingerbread page said the displays are "open to non-guests" and need "no reservation".
The two Candlelight descriptions now agree, and both match Disney.
Disney's show page, read 23 September 2026, gives "a celebrity narrator and massed choir, accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra, herald trumpets and the Voices of Liberty", nightly from 27 November to 30 December 2026 at 4:45, 6:30 and 8:00pm.
One paragraph was copied onto all four EPCOT festival pages, and its scavenger-hunt sentence was wrong on every one.
"Where you find one character hidden across the park" described hunts that hide figures in a dozen places.
The Magic and Wonder Deluxe Oceanview is 214 sq ft, not the 204 we printed, and the "surprise" built on it was false.
Three pages said the Deluxe Oceanview on those ships is smaller than the Deluxe Inside (214).
Four event-page defects, one of them a contradiction the audit did not name.
(1) The Food & Wine sources said Melissa filmed on "3 September" while the body said opening day, 27 August.
Two of our pages priced the same meal differently, and it was mostly units: one counted a whole order, the other often only the entrée.
/planning/dining-plan/ prices a sitting from Disney's menu (average entrée plus dessert plus drink, before tax): Yachtsman $57.90 + $16.25 + $4.99 = $79.14.
The two wait ingests were deadlocking each other and dropping a park's readings 1 to 4 times an hour.
job_runs, last 24 h on 22 Sep: ingest-queuetimes 23 of 288 runs failed and ingest-themeparks 20, nearly all magic-kingdom: deadlock detected.
We published a false correction, and this retracts it.
On 21 September two guides (transportation, UK holiday) announced that $17.60 and $33.60 for Mears Connect "were wrong", "a ten per cent markup, not a fare", and replaced them with $16.
access-c9007e and access-4b1bd0 were already fixed; verified live on 22 Sep and recorded so they are not reopened.
The ride finder's "transfer is fine" filter now excludes Peter Pan's Flight and the TTA PeopleMover, both Disney "Must Be Ambulatory": 92 of 99, and "not ambulatory" returns 97.
tickets-e1b7cd, tickets-c750f1 and tickets-387566. The annual-pass page now prints Disney's actual blockout calendar, and the Florida-only payment rule.
Blockouts come from Disney's calendar data (/passes/blockout-dates/api/get-availability/, plain curl) for all four passes, 22 Sep 2026 to 30 Sep 2027: Incredi 0 days, Sorcerer 17, Pirate 63, Pixie Dust 146, including every Saturday and Sunday.
Three gates caught three real faults in the menus the moment they shipped, and all three were mine.
Six pages emitted literal — forbidden site-wide because it means unrendered markdown leaked.
We promised readers a photograph with the Beast that has not been available since 2020.
The Be Our Guest FAQ, and the FAQPage JSON-LD generated from it, said "The Beast greets guests in the West Wing area after dinner… you will get a photograph." Four contradictory site-wide answers to "how many rides can you do without leaving a wheelchair", and three of them were the same answer counted differently.
Against the database: 3 of 49 rides let you stay in the wheelchair *or ECV* you arrived in; 16 of 49 you board without leaving *a wheelchair*, the other 13 being wheelchair access vehicles; 45 of 99 attractions including shows and walkthroughs.
The wheelchair guide's figures table published the exact numbers its own correction paragraph says were wrong.
The page body has been right since 10 September — "Magic Kingdom 23 rides, 8 stay in your chair, 35%" — and the structured numbers still held 1, 4%, 18% and 22%, the pre-correction set.
Our own restaurants guide sold a closed restaurant as bookable, four days after we published the closure.
The 52-row table read "Town Center · Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill · Table service · $35 · Easy to book" while /dining/wolfgang-puck-bar-and-grill/ opened with "has closed for good.
Already fixed before this session, and recorded as such rather than claimed.
/live/whats-down/ reported "down at least 13 days" on closures that had run for months — the figure was the age of our own record, not the length of the closure, and every long closure floored at the same number.
We published five things as closed while our own wait record had them operating.
The closure list is built from Disney's calendar, and no published hours is not the same as a shut ride.
NOT A DEFECT, and the fifth units mismatch this audit has reported as one.
It says our two pages publish "different prices for the same meal at the same restaurant" — Yachtsman $79.14 on the dining-plan page against "about $58 a head" on the restaurant page.
Space 220 charged its dinner price at lunch, twice.
The page's own dated source reads "$55 per adult at lunch… and $79 at dinner", and the verdict and an FAQ both said "$79 a head at lunch" — a 44% overstatement, and the FAQ instance sat in the JSON-LD.
Be Our Guest carried two prices for its own prix fixe, and the wrong one was in the JSON-LD.
The facts panel and menu section said $72 per adult, $43 per child — Disney's own figure, corroborated by two outlets — while the verdict, the who-it's-wrong-for section and the FAQPage JSON-LD that answer engines extract all said roughly $67, which is WDW Prep School's stale pair.
We told readers to use a single rider queue Disney no longer lists.
Not an audit finding — check-attraction-facts.mjs reads Disney's live pages on every deploy and fired on this one for the first time tonight, five failures deep: the record flag, the bestTime advice, and three FAQ sentences, one of which called it "one of the most effective on property".
A second sentence published with its subject and verb missing
, found by the same gate that caught the annual-pass one: *"The TTC has been under refurbishment since August 2025, and in May 2026 that construction walls were still moving…"*.
We published Mears Connect fares 10% above what the operator charges, on two pages.
$17.60 adult one way and $33.60 return, sourced to a UK outlet's May 2026 reading.
"Not enough data yet" was a promise several pages could never keep.
Chasing the 7 stragglers found three different truths behind one message.
The height checker told a 42-inch child Mission: SPACE was open to them, with no mention of the half they cannot ride.
heightInches holds one number, so the Orange mission's 44-inch tier existed nowhere on /planning/height-checker/ — while our own /attractions/mission-space/ has always described the split correctly, so the tool contradicted the page it links to.
I nearly published a second, contradicting measurement of our own data.
The new port-call table used under 0.5 knots and six fixes and reported 97 Castaway Cay calls at a 7.4-hour median. /disney-cruise-line/castaway-cay-how-long/ already publishes 124 at 6.8 hours, from a method it documents and defends against CruiseMapper's schedule — under 1.5 knots, four fixes minimum.
A wrong coordinate nearly produced a confident, false retraction.
My first pass put Castaway Cay at 25.79 N — 32 km south, in open water — and found 383 fixes with not one ship below a knot, which reads exactly like "Disney never berths here".
One of the three promises was withdrawn because the data cannot keep it.
The page offered to show "which routes miss ports most often".
The booking-windows page omitted Concierge, and the fix found that the figure everyone prints is half a rule.
Concierge is a stateroom category, not a Castaway Club tier, so a table built from the loyalty programme missed it and published "75 to 123 days" as the whole range.
One set of numbers published under two different names.
The 32-cell fare matrix was introduced correctly — EverythingMouse "averaged every sailing… with taxes and fees included and the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year sailings left out" — and then captioned "These are floors, not typical prices… the cheapest cabin in each category", before becoming "average opening fares" two sections later and "averaged about $2,480" in the FAQ.
The Premier Pass page omitted Disney's photo perk — and the finding's own conclusion about it was wrong.
The audit called it "an included benefit omitted from the arithmetic" on a page whose verdict is a price comparison.
Two things the rebuild found that the finding did not name.
Disney does not tier Animal Kingdom at all — it says "choose up to 3 of the following" — so the Tier 1 / Tier 2 split that exists at the other three parks is invented wherever it is printed for AK; the page now says so.
The flagship timing page said the week of 4 July is one of the busiest of the year, in three places, and it was wrong in all three.
Our own crowd index puts July fourth-quietest of twelve at 34.6%; our own /when-to-go/july/ already said the opposite in as many words; and Disney Tourist Blog — cited by name in this page's own sources block — calls the Fourth of July week "consistently one of the best weeks to visit, not one of the worst" and the slowest week…
Two of the five "where you stay" options silently priced the hotel at $0.
Off site and DVC villa rendered no stay row at all, so the table opened on the ticket line and the headline number — $3,412 for both — read as a complete estimate of a trip with a room in it.
The calculator charged children the adult price, and the two totals were byte-identical.
?adults=4&children=0 and ?adults=2&children=2 both returned $4,952 because party = adults + children was multiplied through every per-person line.
Both spring festival pages read as "ended" while Disney had published 2027 dates.
Flower & Garden runs 10 March to 31 May 2027 and Festival of the Arts 15 January to 1 March 2027 — the longest Arts festival Disney has staged, and under a new presenting sponsor, the Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game.
"Only 1 is still on sale" when Disney says every 2026 date has sold out.
Two fixes, because the data and the sentence were each wrong on their own.
The Christmas party page published the Halloween party's dates.
"16 party nights between Sep 18, 2026 and Oct 16, 2026" rendered directly above its own panel saying it runs 8 November to 22 December. getUpcomingTicketedNights was keyed to park and the string 'Special Ticketed Event', so both Magic Kingdom parties read the same rows and the wrong page looked exactly like the right one.
