What vegan food is at EPCOT Food & Wine 2026?

Ten dishes carry Disney's plant-based mark in its 2026 foodie guide for the festival, which runs from 27 August to 21 November. Disney defines plant-based as made from plant foods and without animal meat, dairy, eggs or honey, so each one is vegan by that definition.

Disney's own menus give the prices for the four at Tangierine Café, Refreshment Outpost and Brew-Wing. The other six come from BlogMickey's full list of the festival menus, published on 19 August and updated on 24 August.

Which plant-based dishes are new in 2026?

Four of the ten are marked new in Disney's guide: the Sweet Chile-Lime Plant-based Chicken Strips at Brew-Wing, the Spicy Black Bean-Mushroom Chili at Forest & Field, the Edamame Dumplings at Gyozas of the Galaxy and the Sweet Potato Mealie Pap at Refreshment Outpost.

Some are old favourites. For the festival's 30th year Disney is bringing back legacy dishes, and it dates the Ras el Hanout Cauliflower Bowl to 2003, the samosas to 2005 and the mealie pap's original version to 2004, at the South Africa booth.

Can you plan a vegan day at Food & Wine?

Yes, and it is easier in World Showcase than up front. Tangierine Café in Morocco has two of the ten, so a falafel wrap and a cauliflower bowl there is a meal for about $12.78. Add the mealie pap at Refreshment Outpost and, from 2 October, the samosas at India, which is near China.

At the front of the park the options spread out: the chili at Forest & Field and the chicken strips at Brew-Wing in World Celebration, the edamame dumplings at Gyozas of the Galaxy and the yuca fries near Test Track in World Discovery. The trifle at Shimmering Sips near the park entrance is the one plant-based dessert.

What should vegans watch out for?

Two things from Disney's own wording. First, the Fry Flight is only partly plant-based: of its three fries, Disney marks only the sea salt-malt vinegar ones. The truffle-Parmesan and sweet potato casserole fries are not.

Second, plant-based is a recipe, not an allergy promise. Disney's special diets page says its restaurants make reasonable efforts but cannot guarantee every request. If you have an allergy rather than a preference, tell the cast member at the booth before you order.
