Is it worth the money?
Yes, if you understand you are buying an evening, not a meal.
$49 all-you-care-to-eat is fair value for EPCOT table service, and the food is honest German cooking done at buffet scale. What lifts it is the room: a permanent Oktoberfest courtyard with a live band, communal long tables, and a dance floor that people actually use by the second set.
The communal seating is the thing to know before booking. You will be sat with other parties at a long table, every time, without exception. Guests who like that describe it as the friendliest meal in World Showcase. Guests who wanted a quiet dinner for two find it is not one.
It is also among the easiest World Showcase reservations to get, which for a restaurant this well liked is worth knowing.
Who it’s right for
Anyone who enjoys a lively room and does not mind sharing a table. Big eaters, since it is all-you-care-to-eat. Beer drinkers. Families with children who will not sit quietly anyway. And guests booking late, since this has availability when the rest of World Showcase does not.
Who it’s wrong for
Couples wanting a quiet dinner — communal seating is not optional. Plant-based and vegetarian diners, who have little here. Anyone who dislikes buffets. And guests sensitive to noise, since the band plays throughout.

One buffet at one price: $49 an adult and $28 a child aged 3 to 9, plus tax and gratuity, identical at lunch and dinner. Rotisserie chicken, sausage, schnitzel, sauerkraut, potatoes, spätzle, nudel gratin, seasonal salads and assorted desserts.
Beer is the other reason people come and is not included — the Germany pavilion pours proper steins. Lunch runs 12:00 to 3:55 and dinner 4:00 to 8:00. Prices checked 9 September 2026.

Portions
All-you-care-to-eat and heavy by design. The schnitzel and the spätzle are what people return for. Two plates defeats most guests, which is what makes the fixed price work.
Allergies and dietary needs
The weakest part. A German buffet built on pork, sausage and schnitzel leaves plant-based diners with salads, potatoes and spätzle. Ask for a chef on arrival — they will plate from the kitchen — but this is not the restaurant to choose if someone in your party avoids meat.

- Do you have to sit with strangers at Biergarten?
- Yes. Communal long tables are the format and there is no way to opt out — parties are seated together at tables of eight to ten. Most guests end up enjoying it and it is the most common surprise for people who booked without reading. If you want a table to yourselves, book elsewhere in World Showcase.

- Not really, and it is the honest weakness. The buffet is built on sausage, schnitzel and pork, leaving salads, potatoes, spätzle and sauerkraut. A chef will plate something from the kitchen if you ask on arrival, but a vegetarian is paying $49 for the sides.
- Is it hard to book?
- No, and that is unusual for World Showcase. Biergarten regularly has availability inside a week when Le Cellier and Via Napoli have none — largely because the communal seating puts some people off. If you are trying to add an EPCOT table service late, start here.
