Is it worth the money?
Yes, and the reason is the room as much as the food.
The upstairs is the point. Most guests order downstairs, look at the queue for tables, and eat outside. Up the staircase there is a second dining room with leaded windows over Liberty Square and the Haunted Mansion path — air-conditioned, calm, and frequently half empty at the exact moment the ground floor is chaos. It is the best free thing in Magic Kingdom.
The food justifies the visit on its own. This is the only counter on the property serving a proper lobster roll, and the fish is fried to order rather than held.
The price label is now wrong. Disney's own descriptor for this restaurant reads "$14.99 and under per adult" while the headline dish is $18.99 and three others are over $14. Budget about $19 a head with a side, not $15.
Who it’s right for
Anyone who wants to sit down indoors in Magic Kingdom without a reservation, especially at peak lunch. Adults, who get a menu that is not chicken nuggets. Vegetarians. And anyone who has been round the park before and wants the quiet upstairs room.
Who it’s wrong for
Anyone in a hurry at the busiest hour, when the ground floor queue is long. Very fussy children, for whom the seafood angle is wasted. And anyone budgeting on Disney's own price descriptor, which understates the menu by several dollars a head.
What is actually good
The lobster roll at $18.99 is the order, and it is a real one — cold lobster salad in a split-top roll, which is not a thing any other quick service on property attempts.
Below it the menu is unusually broad for a counter: Maple Mustard Glazed Salmon at $15.79, a Grilled Shrimp Skewer at $14.49, the Trio Platter at $14.29, and Beer-Battered Fish at $13.99. The plant-based Hearts of Palm and Artichoke is $12.99 and is a designed dish rather than an afterthought.
New England Clam Chowder at $6.79 is the sleeper. Ordered as a side with a platter it turns a counter meal into something that feels cooked.
Black Garlic, Truffle and Parmesan Fries are $6.99 against $5.49 for ordinary fries, and are worth the $1.50.

Portions
Generous, and the platters come with a side included. Two people can share a lobster roll and a fish platter comfortably. Kids' meals run $7.29 to $8.99 and are properly sized.
Allergies and dietary needs
Strong for a counter service. The plant-based Hearts of Palm and Artichoke is a genuine main, allergy menus are available at the register, and because this is Disney-operated the standard process applies — ask and a chef will come out, which is not universal at quick service.
