Signature
Flying Fish
The short answer
The seafood signature on Disney's BoardWalk, a ten-minute walk from EPCOT's International Gateway. Nine entrées $43 to $62 in September 2026, averaging $55.56. Dinner only, 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM. The best fish on property, in a room that looks like a restaurant rather than a theme park.

Is it worth the money?
Yes, and it is the easiest signature restaurant on property to recommend without caveats.
The cooking is the best seafood at Walt Disney World and the room is a contemporary dining room rather than a themed one — no soundtrack, no characters. Disney's own description leads with "premium sustainable seafood and oak-grilled steaks", which is accurate rather than aspirational.
The walk is part of the value. Ten minutes from EPCOT's International Gateway puts it among a handful of signature restaurants reachable from a park on foot, and the BoardWalk itself is somewhere to be afterwards rather than a bus stop.
Dinner only, 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM. There is no lunch, which catches people planning an EPCOT afternoon around it.
Disney has posted a Skyliner closure: "From January 24, 2027, through January 30, 2027, Disney Skyliner will not be in service due to refurbishment. Complimentary bus service will be available during this time." That affects the Skyliner resorts rather than the BoardWalk walk, but it is the week to know about if you are staying at Caribbean Beach, Riviera, Pop Century or Art of Animation.
Who it’s right for
Two adults who want the best fish on property and a quiet room. Anyone staying on Crescent Lake — BoardWalk, Yacht and Beach Club, Swan and Dolphin — who can walk to it. Anyone finishing an EPCOT evening at the International Gateway. Vegetarians, unusually for a seafood restaurant, who get a proper entrée at the lowest price on the menu.
Who it’s wrong for
Families with young children; there is nothing here for them and the bill is serious. Anyone wanting lunch — there is none. Anyone after Disney theming, which this room does not attempt. And anyone who wants a steakhouse: the two steaks are good and beside the point.
What is actually good
Read from Disney's own dinner menu on 11 September 2026.
Nine entrées, $43 to $62, averaging $55.56. Oven-roasted Squash and Japanese aubergine at $43 is the vegetarian main and the cheapest thing on the list. Then Roasted Salmon and Plancha-seared Scallops and Chilean Sea Bass at $49 to $54, Pan-seared Organic Duck $57, the Seafood "Frutti di Mare" $59, Potato-wrapped Red Snapper $60, and Filet Mignon and Char-crusted New York Strip both at $62.
Seven appetisers, $16 to $21: seasonal gazpacho $16, grilled heirloom tomatoes $17, lobster bisque and slow-roasted pork belly and shrimp cocktail at $19, steamed mussels $20, and a tasting of artisan cheeses at $21 — which also appears on the dessert list at the same price.
Enhancements to add to a main run $18 to $27: sautéed shrimp or Ibérico ham $18, seared scallops $21, butter-poached lobster tail $27. Desserts are a flat $14 apart from that cheese board.
Disney bands this restaurant $$$, "$35 to $59.99 per adult", and here the badge is a fair description: the nine-entrée average of $55.56 sits inside it and only three entrées cost more. That is worth saying because it is not the usual result — at Yachtsman Steakhouse the same band covers a menu where every steak exceeds it.
Portions
Signature-sized rather than steakhouse-sized, and composed rather than bare. Entrées arrive as finished plates with their own garnish, so the $18 to $27 enhancements are genuinely optional in a way Yachtsman's sides are not. Two people ordering two entrées and sharing one appetiser eat properly for about $135 before drinks.
Allergies and dietary needs
Reasonable, with one real vegetarian entrée — the oven-roasted squash and Japanese aubergine at $43, which is also the cheapest main rather than an afterthought priced like one. Seafood runs through most of the rest, so shellfish allergies need the chef conversation early. Disney publishes an allergy-friendly parallel menu here as it does at the other signatures.
Common questions
- How much is Flying Fish?
- Nine entrées ran $43 to $62 on Disney's own dinner menu in September 2026, averaging $55.56, with appetisers $16 to $21 and desserts a flat $14. An appetiser, an entrée and a drink lands near $90 before tip.
- Is Disney's price range accurate for Flying Fish?
- Here, yes. The nine-entrée average of $55.56 sits inside its "$35 to $59.99 per adult" band and only three entrées exceed it. That is unusual — at Yachtsman Steakhouse the same band covers a menu where every steak costs more than the ceiling.
- Can you walk to Flying Fish from EPCOT?
- Yes, about ten minutes from the International Gateway at the back of World Showcase. It sits on Disney's BoardWalk, which makes it one of the few signature restaurants you can reach from a park on foot and somewhere to walk afterwards.
- Does Flying Fish serve lunch?
- No. Disney lists dinner only, 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM. It is the most common planning mistake with this restaurant, because the BoardWalk is busy at lunchtime and the room is visibly there.
