Is it worth the money?
Yes, if you order tacos. The entrée list is where it gets expensive without getting much better.
The taco plates are the reason to come. $28.50 on average for a full plate, in a restaurant with an eight-time James Beard Award winner's name on it, beside the lake at Disney Springs. For most tables, a guacamole to share and a taco plate each works out at around $35 a head before drinks.
Skip dinner-hour margaritas if you can come earlier. From Monday to Thursday, 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, a classic margarita is $10 against $17 to $25 on the regular list. On a Disney Springs afternoon that is the best drinks price in Town Center.
Lunch and dinner are the same menu at the same prices. Unlike Ale & Compass or Amare, lunch saves nothing here. The only difference is the weekend brunch dishes, which at $17 to $19 are the cheapest plates on the menu apart from the chips.
Review sites are split on whether it has slipped. Recent reviews are positive, and some longer-standing regulars on review sites say food and service have gone down for the price. We have not eaten here, so this page does not rank the cooking. It reports the menu and what diners are saying, and the split is real.
Disney's menu has two taco descriptions crossed — see the dietary note. It is Disney's typo, and it could cost a vegetarian a beef taco.
Who it’s right for
Anyone at Disney Springs who wants a sit-down meal under $40 a head. Taco eaters. Afternoon drinkers, Monday to Thursday. Weekend brunchers. Groups sharing a Tlayuda and a round of guacamole. Anyone who wants Mexican food cooked by a kitchen that takes it seriously.
Who it’s wrong for
Anyone wanting a quiet meal — Town Center is loud and so is the room. Anyone expecting cheaper lunch prices, which do not exist here. Strict vegetarians who do not double-check the taco descriptions. Anyone who needs a steak dinner, which at $62 is better spent elsewhere.
What is actually good
Read from Disney's own lunch and dinner menus on 12 September 2026.
Six taco plates, $24 to $32, averaging $28.50. Each comes with black bean refritos and salsa: Crispy Cauliflower at $24, Grilled Chicken "Al Pastor" at $28, three at $29 — Carnitas, Shrimp "Dorados Style" and a Three-Chile Agave Glazed Pork Belly — and Carne Asada Tacos at $32.
Eight entrées, $28 to $62, averaging $38.00. Creamy Chicken Enchiladas Suiza at $28, Cochinita Pibil Enchiladas and Beef Barbacoa Quesadillas at $29, Spicy Mango-Habanero Chicken at $36, Camarones al Coco at $38, Grilled Red Snapper at $39 and a Beef Shortrib in ancho barbecue at $43.
The average is carried by one dish. The Carne Asada is a 16oz bone-in ribeye at $62. Without it the other seven entrées average $34.57. It is a single portion, so it stays in the count.
Ten starters, $6 to $28. Chips and salsa at $6 is the cheapest thing on the menu. Guacamole is $15 verde or $16 fully dressed, and the pumpkin-seed "hummus" is $16. The Chorizo Tlayuda at $28 is a 14-inch Oaxacan tostada, priced like a main and sized for a table. Six sides at $8 each. Four priced desserts, $10 to $13.
Weekend brunch, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday, adds four egg dishes at $17 to $19 — chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, huevos motuleños and huevos a la mexicana — to the full menu.
Happy hour, 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday to Thursday. A classic margarita is $10 and a specialty margarita $12, against $17 to $25 on the regular list. Draft Dos Equis is $7 and two wines are $10 a glass.
Disney bands both meals $$, "$15 to $34.99 per adult". The tacos sit entirely inside it. Five of the eight entrées cost more than $34.99.
Portions
Generous, and the taco plates are full meals rather than a pair of street tacos — they come with refritos and salsa, and one plate is plenty for most adults. The Tlayuda is 14 inches across and is a starter for four, not one. Sides at $8 are sized to share.
Allergies and dietary needs
Read the descriptions, not the names — Disney's own menu has them crossed. On both the lunch and dinner menus read on 12 September 2026, the taco called "Crispy Cauliflower" is described as "Crispy, tender beef shortrib", and the taco called "Three-Chile Agave Glazed Pork Belly" is described as "Shredded chicken". The descriptions look shifted onto the wrong dishes. For a vegetarian, the cauliflower taco is the obvious order, and Disney's page describes it as beef. Confirm with your server before ordering either.
Past that, it is workable. The Cocina Ensalada at $16, queso fundido without the chorizo, both guacamoles and the pumpkin-seed dip, and several $8 sides are meatless. Disney marks pork and dairy on every dish, and both run through much of the menu — the refritos on many plates contain pork. Shellfish is in the ceviche, the camarones, the Dorados tacos and the Tlayuda add-ons.
