Le Cellier Steakhouse
The short answer
Le Cellier is the steakhouse in the Canada pavilion at EPCOT, in a low stone-vaulted cellar room. It is one of the harder EPCOT reservations, the pretzel bread is famous, and it is considerably darker and quieter than anything else in World Showcase.

Is it worth the money?
Yes if you want a proper dinner inside a park, which is rarer than it sounds. Around $72 a head buys a good steak in a cool, dark, quiet room in the middle of a hot day, and the contrast with the rest of EPCOT is most of the appeal. It is one of the hardest EPCOT bookings and it gets harder during Food and Wine.
Who it’s right for
Anyone who wants a proper sit-down dinner without leaving a park — rarer than it sounds — and steak eaters in particular. The cellar setting is dark and quiet, which is a genuine relief mid-way through an EPCOT day.
Who it’s wrong for
Large or restless groups: the room is small, low-ceilinged and close-packed, so a lively party will feel conspicuous. It is also poor value for anyone who does not eat beef, as the rest of the menu is an afterthought.
What is actually good
À la carte, and steakhouse-priced. The Canadian cheddar cheese soup is $15 and the thing everyone remembers; the 7-oz filet mignon is $65 and the strongest plate on the menu; the New York strip and the rib-eye are $62 each and the 28-oz rib-eye for two is $120. Signature poutine $19, maple crème brûlée $15. The pretzel bread arrives before you order and is not charged for. A soup and a filet is $80 a head before drinks, tax or tip.
Portions
Steakhouse portions. The soup and pretzel bread before a main is enough for a lighter appetite on its own.
Allergies and dietary needs
Good, with à la carte flexibility and a chef available. The menu is protein-led, which suits some dietary needs and constrains others.
Common questions
- What is the pretzel bread at Le Cellier?
- A dark pretzel roll served with the bread service before the meal. It has a following out of all proportion to a bread roll and servers will bring more if asked, which most guests never do.
- How hard is it to book Le Cellier?
- One of the harder EPCOT reservations, and considerably harder during the Food and Wine Festival when World Showcase is at its busiest. Book at sixty days and check the app for cancellations if you miss it.
- Is Le Cellier a signature restaurant?
- Yes, which affects the dining plan credits and sets expectations for the price. At around $72 a head it sits below California Grill and well below Victoria & Albert's, but above the ordinary table-service band.
- Is Le Cellier good for children?
- Reasonably. There is a children's menu and the room is quiet, not raucous, which suits some families and bores others. It is a steakhouse rather than an experience, so children who want theming will be happier elsewhere in World Showcase.
