The short answer

Nomad Lounge is Animal Kingdom's bar, on Discovery Island next to Tiffins, with a balcony over the river. Small plates run $11 for churros to $23 for a charcuterie board, cocktails $16.50 to $19.50 and non-alcoholic drinks from $6.50. There are no reservations; you join a walk-up list. Disney Tourist Blog recommends it as a break from the heat.

Is it worth the money?

For the setting, yes. Disney Tourist Blog's review calls it a worthwhile break from Animal Kingdom's crowds and heat and the churros fantastic, though that review is from 2023 and most of the menu has changed since.

Who it’s right for

Adults who want a drink and a sit-down in the middle of the day.

Who it’s wrong for

A hungry family: the plates are small, and Tiffins next door is the meal.

What is actually good

Small plates: churros with vanilla crema and apple butter at $11, wild mushroom dumplings (plant-based) at $14, crispy chicken wings at $16, grilled beef kefta at $17, sticky pork ribs and the Traveller's Provisions at $18, and a charcuterie and cheese board at $23.

Cocktails run $16.50 to $19.50, from the Night Monkey and Spice Trader Classic to the Annapurna Zing. Draft beers include the Kungaloosh Spiced Excursion Ale at $11.75, and the non-alcoholic list, from a lychee-ginger lemonade at $6.59 to the Hibiscus Henna at $7.75, is long.
