Table service
'Ohana
The short answer
'Ohana at the Polynesian serves an all-you-care-to-eat family-style dinner: a skillet of teriyaki beef, peel-and-eat shrimp, glazed chicken, wings, dumplings and noodles, then the bread pudding. Disney lists $67 an adult and $44 a child. It is one of the hardest reservations at Walt Disney World and it goes within minutes at sixty days.

Is it worth the money?
Yes, if you can get it, and the price is the least interesting thing about the decision. At $67 an adult for unlimited food it is reasonable value for a signature-adjacent meal, and the bread pudding alone has a following. The real cost is the booking — this is a sixty-day-at-6am reservation and it disappears in minutes. It is also loud, so it is the wrong choice for a conversation or for anyone noise-sensitive.
Who it’s right for
Hungry groups who want unlimited food brought to the table and do not want to make decisions. The bread pudding and the noodles have a following, and the family-style format suits mixed ages well.
Who it’s wrong for
Anyone wanting a quiet or leisurely dinner. It is loud, it moves quickly, and the skewers arrive whether you are ready or not. Light eaters and anyone who dislikes being repeatedly offered more food will not get value at roughly $68 a head.
What is actually good
All-you-care-to-enjoy, served family style. Disney's own menu lists $67 per adult and $44 per child aged 3 to 9 at dinner, plus tax and gratuity, read 13 September 2026 — the same figures AllEars records, so the $59 and $38 in another 2026 write-up are an older price.
The meats come to the table in a skillet: wood-fire grilled black pepper-teriyaki beef, peel-and-eat shrimp, grilled chicken with a guava-pineapple glaze, honey-coriander wings, pork dumplings in garlic-chili sauce and the 'Ohana noodles, refilled until you stop. The skewers carried round the room ended when 'Ohana reopened in 2021 and have not come back, though many older reviews still describe them. There is a plant-based skillet too.
Dessert is the bread pudding, which Disney now lists à la mode with a homemade caramel sauce.
Breakfast is a separate character meal that Disney prices at $53 an adult and $33 a child.
Portions
Family style and unlimited. Two adults will struggle to finish one round. Children eat from the same dishes rather than a separate menu, which suits some families and frustrates others.
Allergies and dietary needs
Allergy handling is strong — a chef comes to the table as standard for any declared allergy, and the kitchen adapts the family-style service, not substituting a single plate.
Common questions
- How hard is it to book 'Ohana?
- Among the hardest at Walt Disney World. Reservations open sixty days ahead at 6:00am Eastern and popular dates go within minutes. Resort guests can book their whole stay from the first morning, which is why on-site guests get most of the tables.
- What is the bread pudding at 'Ohana?
- Warm bread pudding served à la mode with a homemade caramel sauce, on Disney's menu of 13 September 2026 — older reviews describe a bananas foster sauce, which is not how Disney lists it now. It comes at the end of the dinner and, like everything else, is all-you-care-to-enjoy.
- Is 'Ohana good for picky eaters?
- Reasonably. The meats are plainly grilled and the noodles are mild, so a cautious child usually finds something. What does not suit picky eaters is the family-style format — there is no separate children's menu, so a child who wants chicken nuggets is out of luck.
- Can you eat at 'Ohana without staying at the Polynesian?
- Yes. Any Walt Disney World guest can book, and the Polynesian is on the monorail from Magic Kingdom, which makes it a straightforward evening even from another resort.
- Does 'Ohana still bring the meat round on skewers?
- No. The skewers ended when 'Ohana reopened in 2021, and the meats now come to the table in a skillet — teriyaki beef, shrimp, glazed chicken, wings and dumplings with the noodles — refilled as you go. Many older reviews and videos still show the skewers.
