Is it worth the money?
Yes, mostly for the space. Disney Food Blog calls it a place "to sit down and spread out" and says it is "easy to find a quiet corner to get away from the hustle and bustle" — which at noon in Frontierland is worth a lot.
The food is what it looks like: well-made Tex-Mex bowls at counter prices. Disney Food Blog notes that it once had a reputation for burgers and now serves Mexican fare, and the one burger left, at $14.79, is the most expensive main here.
Older guides list the wrong kids' menu. Some still describe macaroni and cheese and chicken nuggets for children. Disney's own menu, read on 12 September 2026, has neither: kids choose from a beef or chicken nacho bowl, a chicken rice bowl, a cheeseburger, a cheese quesadilla or a PB&J Uncrustable.
Who it’s right for
Families who need room to spread out, anyone who likes to build a meal to order, and plant-based or gluten-free eaters, who have more choice here than at most Magic Kingdom counters.
Who it’s wrong for
Anyone set on a classic burger-and-fries lunch — Cosmic Ray's does that better — and very picky young eaters, since the kids' menu is mostly bowls.
What is actually good
The bowls are the core of it. The Nacho Bowl, the Rice Bowl and the Southwest Caesar Salad are all $12.99, and all three are built to order in Mobile Order. The Southwest Black Bean Burger, also $12.99, is the plant-based main.
For something that is not a bowl, the Barbecue Bacon Cheeseburger is $14.79 and the featured Smoked Pork Sandwich $13.49.
The sides are where it gets interesting. Queso Fries are $6.99, Chips con Queso $6.49, and chips and salsa $5.99. Guacamole is a $2.50 add-on and a spoon of queso $1. Churro Loops at $7.49 are the dessert.

Portions
Bowls are generous and filling; two light eaters can share one with a side of chips. Kids' meals are $7.29 to $9.29 and are proper smaller versions of the adult bowls.

Good. The build-your-own bowls make it easy to leave out meat, dairy or gluten-containing items, the black bean burger is plant-based, and allergy-friendly options are available at the registers and in Mobile Order.
