Table service
Teppan Edo
The short answer
Teppanyaki upstairs in the Japan pavilion at EPCOT, where a chef cooks on a griddle built into your table. Adult entrées $28 to $45 in September 2026, served with udon and rice. Tables seat up to 8, so unless your party fills one you will be sharing a griddle with strangers.

Is it worth the money?
Yes, if you understand what you are booking, and it is the one EPCOT restaurant people most often misjudge.
Disney is explicit that this is "part meal, part show" and describes it as "the communal ritual of Teppan-yaki-style cooking". The chef cooks in front of you on a griddle set into the table, and the performance is a real part of the value at $34 to $45 for what is, on the plate, chicken or steak with noodles and rice.
The thing to know before booking: tables are designed to seat up to 8. Disney says so on the page. A party of two will be seated with other parties, because the griddle serves the whole table at once. If that sounds like a good evening, this is excellent value. If you wanted a quiet dinner for two in Japan, book Tokyo Dining or the sushi counter instead — this is not the room for it.
Also worth knowing: Disney notes that larger parties may be split across separate tables, so a group of ten is not guaranteed to eat together.
Lunch runs 12:00 PM to 3:55 PM and dinner 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and the same $$ band is printed for both.
Who it’s right for
Anyone who enjoys the teppanyaki show and does not mind eating with strangers. Families with children old enough to watch the knives — there is a proper children's menu at $18 to $26. Parties of six to eight, who will fill a table and get the room to themselves. Anyone wanting a substantial dinner in World Showcase for under $50.
Who it’s wrong for
Two people wanting a private, quiet dinner, who will be seated with other parties. Anyone with a serious allergy, given a shared griddle. Groups of ten or more who need to sit together, since Disney warns they may be split. And anyone budgeting from the $15 to $34.99 band — three of the five entrées cost more than $34.99.
What is actually good
Read from Disney's own dinner menu on 10 September 2026.
Five adult entrées, $28 to $45, averaging $36.20: Vegetables $28, Chicken $34, Shrimp $35, Salmon $39, NY Cut Steak $45. Every one arrives with udon noodles and steamed rice, which is worth knowing before ordering extras.
Combinations pair two proteins — Ueno $42, Asakusa and Nihonbashi both $48. Above those sit premium versions at $66 to $88: Kanda and Ryogoku at $66, a Wagyu Julienne Steak at $69, and premium Asakusa and Nihonbashi at $88.
Enhancements bolt onto any entrée: Mixed Mushrooms $16, Shrimp $17, Scallops $31, Filet Mignon $37, Lobster Tail $38.
Appetisers $6.50 to $16.50 — miso soup $6.50, edamame $8, takoyaki $12, wagyu roast beef $13, calamari steak $16.50. Sushi $17 to $24.50, with the Volcano Roll dearest at $24.50. Desserts $6 to $16. Children's entrées are a separate section, $18 to $26.
Disney bands this restaurant $$ — "$15 to $34.99 per adult" — and three of the five adult entrées cost more than that ceiling, before anyone orders a combination or a premium. The band is one of four fixed tiers, not a reading of this menu, and here it is a tier low.
Portions
Substantial, and more than the entrée price suggests, because udon and steamed rice come with every one. An entrée alone is a full meal for most people; ordering appetisers, sushi and an entrée is a common and expensive mistake. The combinations at $42 to $48 add a second protein rather than more of the first, so they are worth it for variety and not for volume.
Allergies and dietary needs
The vegetable entrée at $28 is a proper teppanyaki course rather than a side plate, and it is the cheapest thing on the adult menu. Beyond that it is difficult: soy and wheat run through the sauces and the udon, everything is cooked on a shared griddle, and cross-contact is inherent to the format. Anyone with a serious allergy should speak to the chef before the cooking starts, because once the griddle is in use the options narrow.
Common questions
- Do you share a table at Teppan Edo?
- Usually, yes. Disney states that tables are designed to seat up to 8 guests, and the griddle cooks for the whole table at once, so a smaller party is seated with others. Only a party of roughly six to eight fills a table on its own.
- How much is Teppan Edo?
- Adult entrées ran $28 to $45 on Disney's own dinner menu in September 2026, averaging $36.20, each served with udon and rice. Two-protein combinations are $42 to $48 and premium entrées $66 to $88. Children's entrées are $18 to $26.
- Is Teppan Edo the same as Tokyo Dining?
- No. They are separate restaurants in the same Japan pavilion building. Teppan Edo is the teppanyaki room with griddle tables and communal seating; Tokyo Dining is the conventional table-service restaurant, and it is the one to book for a quiet dinner for two.
- Where is Teppan Edo in the Japan pavilion?
- Upstairs in the Mitsukoshi building, reached through the shop rather than from the promenade. Guests regularly walk past the entrance because it is inside the merchandise floor, so allow a few extra minutes to find it before your reservation time.
