Character dining
Topolino's Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera
The short answer
Topolino's Terrace sits on the roof of the Riviera and does two different jobs: Breakfast à la Art, a plated character breakfast with Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy at $54 an adult and $35 a child, and a signature dinner with no characters, entrées $38 to $63, with fireworks visible from two parks.

Is it worth the money?
Yes for both, for different reasons. The breakfast is the character meal reviewers rate highest for food — plated rather than a buffet, characters in outfits found nowhere else, and food that stands up on its own. The dinner is one of the few resort restaurants worth travelling to without staying there, and the rooftop view takes in fireworks from two parks. Do not book the dinner expecting characters; they are at breakfast only.
Who it’s right for
Breakfast, above all — it is the best character meal at Walt Disney World, à la carte rather than a buffet, with Mickey and friends in Riviera costume. Dinner suits couples wanting a genuinely good meal away from the parks.
Who it’s wrong for
Anyone wanting characters at dinner — they appear at breakfast only, which catches people out. The dinner dress code is enforced, and the Skyliner is the practical route, so a late dinner means either a long wait or a bus.
What is actually good
Two different restaurants at one address, and only one has characters.
Breakfast à la Art is a plated prix fixe, not a buffet: $54 an adult and $35 a child aged 9 and under, plus tax and gratuity, on Disney's menu of 13 September 2026. Each adult chooses one entrée — a Gruyère quiche, avocado and smoked salmon toast, eggs Benedict Florentine, two eggs any style, a plant-based wild mushroom scramble, the sour cream waffle, or wood-fired steak and eggs.
Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy come round in outfits Disney says are unique to Topolino's. Several 2025 and 2026 guides print $33 for a child; Disney's own menu says $35.
Dinner is French- and Italian-leaning and à la carte: eight entrées from $38 for the house-made tomato ravioli to $63 for the filet mignon, with sole meunière and duck à l'orange at $57. Starters are $14 to $19 and desserts $14 to $16. No characters.
Portions
Breakfast portions are generous and à la carte, not buffet, which suits smaller appetites better than most character meals. Dinner is restaurant-normal.
Allergies and dietary needs
Strong. The à la carte format at both services makes allergy handling easier than at a buffet, and a chef visits the table on request.
Common questions
- Are there characters at Topolino's Terrace dinner?
- No. Characters appear at breakfast only — Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy in Riviera-inspired outfits. Dinner is a signature restaurant with no character element, which catches out families who book the wrong service.
- Is Topolino's breakfast worth it?
- For most families, yes. Ziggy Knows Disney's 2025 ranking of character breakfasts puts it first, for the food. It is plated rather than a buffet, so each dish is cooked to order, and the characters visit every table. At $54 an adult it is not the cheapest character breakfast, and the sour cream waffle is the dish people come back for.
- Can you see fireworks from Topolino's Terrace?
- Yes — the rooftop takes in fireworks from both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios on a clear night. Ask for an outdoor table when you check in and time a dinner reservation accordingly.
- How do you get to Topolino's Terrace?
- The Riviera has its own Skyliner station with direct gondolas from both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, so it is one of the easiest resort restaurants to reach from a park. Buses serve it from Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom.
