Victoria & Albert's at the Grand Floridian is Walt Disney World's most formal and most expensive restaurant — AAA Five Diamond every year since 2000, by Disney's own account. The dining room tasting menu rose from $295 to $375 per guest on 22 May 2026; Disney's page still prints the old figure. Guests must be 10 or older.

Is it worth the money?

As an occasion, yes; as part of a park holiday, rarely. It kept its one Michelin star in the 2026 Florida guide — the only Disney-run restaurant with one.

The real cost is about $475 a head for the dining room — $375, plus Orange County's 6.5% tax and a 20% tip on the menu price — before any wine. With the $210 wine pairing, a couple is past $1,300.

Read the rules before you book, because they cost money. Guests must be 10 or older. Cancel at least five days ahead: inside five days there is a $100 per-person fee, and inside 24 hours the full price is charged. Food allergies must be given at least five days in advance, and Disney says the menus are "designed to be enjoyed as presented".

Dinner only, 5:30 PM to 8:05 PM, so it is an evening, not something to fit around a park day. Disney also notes renovation work at the Grand Floridian through early 2027. Valet parking is free for diners.

It does not take the Disney dining plan. Disney's own page marks it "Dining Plan Meals Not Accepted".

Who it’s right for

An occasion, and adults treating dinner as the evening rather than an interruption to it. It is the only AAA Five Diamond restaurant at Walt Disney World and the service is the reason to come as much as the food.

Who it’s wrong for

Almost anyone on a normal park holiday. Guests must be 10 or older, jackets are required for men, the evening runs to several hours and the cost is unlike anything else on property. Wonderful, and the wrong shape for a theme-park day.

What is actually good

The price rose sharply on 22 May 2026, and Disney's own page has not caught up. Disney's restaurant page still reads: "the prix-fixe menu begins at $295.00 per Guest. Optional wine pairings start at $155.00 per Guest. Zero-proof pairings start at $115.00 per Guest." Multiple outlets reported the increase the same week, from $295 to $375 for the tasting menu, $155 to $210 for wine pairings, and $115 to $145 for zero-proof pairings. AllEars' current menu listing shows $375 and a Chef's Table at $425, plus tax and gratuity. Plan on $375.

The wine list is over 500 wines from 35 regions, some going back to the early 1900s, in Disney's words.

That $80 rise is 27%, overnight, on the most expensive meal on property. Nothing else we have priced has moved that much in one step.

Portions

Tasting-menu portions across many courses. You will not leave hungry, but the pacing is deliberate and the evening is long.

Allergies and dietary needs

Handled in advance, not at the table. Disney's page says the seasonal menus "are designed to be enjoyed as presented" and that "all food allergy restrictions must be provided at least five (5) days in advance", by phone on (407) 939-3862. A tasting menu this fixed is hard to change on the night, so make the call.
