What tours does Disney World run?

Nine, on Disney's own tour pages as read on 13 September 2026. Prices are per person before tax.

Magic Kingdom

• Keys to the Kingdom: a 5-hour walking tour of the park's history and backstage areas, including the Utilidor tunnels, with lunch. $169 to $189, ages 16 and up with photo ID.

Animal Kingdom

• Wild Africa Trek: a 3-hour guided trek through the Safi River Valley. $229 to $239, ages 8 and up and at least 48 inches tall.
• Savor the Savanna: a savanna tour with African-inspired tapas and drinks. $199 to $209, ages 8 and up.
• Up Close with Rhinos: 60 minutes backstage with the white rhinos' keepers. $49, ages 4 and up.
• Caring for Giants: 60 minutes with a guide on the care of the African elephant herd. $39; under-18s need a participating adult.
• Starlight Safari: about an hour on the savanna at night, from Animal Kingdom Lodge's Kidani Village. $89, ages 8 and up.

EPCOT

• Behind the Seeds: a one-hour walk through the fish farm and four greenhouses of The Land pavilion. $39, ages 3 and up. Disney also lists a Glimmering Greenhouses version.
• DiveQuest: 2 hours, about 40 minutes of it diving in the aquarium at The Seas with Nemo & Friends. $229, ages 10 and up.

Fort Wilderness

• Wilderness Back Trail Adventure: 2 hours on a Segway, after about 30 minutes of practice. $90, ages 16 and up with photo ID.

Disney also sells Private VIP Tours at $450 to $950 an hour, for 7 to 10 hours.

Is Keys to the Kingdom worth it?

For a repeat visitor who likes Disney history, the reviews say yes; for a first trip, no. The tour takes 5 hours out of a Magic Kingdom day, and it costs $169 to $189 on top of park admission, which it does not include. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members get 15% off.

You check in at Town Square Theater 15 minutes before the start. Disney's page promises the Utilidor tunnels under the park, stories of how Walt Disney built it, lunch and a keepsake. It also says no cameras, video or phones may be used for the whole tour.

Practically Perfect Pixie Dust (July 2026) recommends it for repeat visitors who want to see behind the scenes, and not for first-timers or anyone worried about losing the magic. It found the tunnels surprisingly mundane, with offices, corridors, lockers and ductwork.

Second Dad to the Right (November 2024) highly recommends it to anyone interested in how the parks work, and thought the price reasonable for the length.

The two reviews rode different attractions. One did Jungle Cruise and Haunted Mansion; the other did the Enchanted Tiki Room and Haunted Mansion, because Jungle Cruise was closed. Disney says the stops can change, so treat any list as an example.

Both had lunch at Columbia Harbour House.

Which Disney World tours can young children do?

Three have a low minimum age, or none, on Disney's pages. Behind the Seeds takes children from 3 and Up Close with Rhinos from 4, and Caring for Giants lists no minimum, only that under-18s come with a participating adult. The Wild Africa Trek, Savor the Savanna and the Starlight Safari start at 8.

Keys to the Kingdom and the Segway trail need 16 and photo ID, and DiveQuest needs 10.

Which tours need a park ticket?

Most of them. Disney's pages say park admission is required and not included for Keys to the Kingdom, the Wild Africa Trek, Savor the Savanna, Caring for Giants, Up Close with Rhinos, Behind the Seeds and the VIP tours. DiveQuest divers need no park ticket, though anyone watching from inside The Seas does.

The Starlight Safari starts at Animal Kingdom Lodge and the Segway trail at Fort Wilderness, and neither page asks for park admission.

Every tour page carries the same cancellation rule: cancel within 24 hours, or miss it, and you pay in full.
