Is it worth the money?

Yes, if the room is somewhere to sleep. You get Early Theme Park Entry, Disney transport, and the ability to walk away from the parks mid-afternoon — the same headline benefits as a $700 deluxe room. What you do not get is a short bus ride, a quiet room, or anywhere pleasant to sit that is not a pool. The value case is strong and it is entirely about what you are not paying for.

Which room should you request?

The All-Stars are three storeys with exterior walkways, so your door opens onto a balcony everyone walks along. Rooms facing a courtyard pool hear it from early morning until close; rooms in the buildings furthest from the food court are quieter and cost a long walk instead. Ask for a top floor — nobody walks above you.

What has changed recently?

Rooms were refurbished across the All-Stars in the late 2010s to the current hard-surface-floor, queen-bed layout. No major work announced since.

A small table, a chair not designed for sitting at, and wifi that struggles when the resort is full. Fine for email in the evening; bad for a working day. If you need to work, the food court seating at 9am is better than the room, and a moderate resort is better than both.

Common questions

How much is All-Star Sports per night?

From about $149 in the cheapest 2026 season to $305 over Christmas, rack rate including Osceola County's 13.5% tax. Discounts of 20–30% appear regularly for Florida residents and annual passholders, so the rack rate is rarely what people actually pay.

Does All-Star Sports have the Skyliner?

No. Buses are the only Disney transport from any of the three All-Star resorts. The Skyliner serves Pop Century, Art of Animation, Caribbean Beach, Riviera and the Boardwalk area — if gondola access matters to you, those are the resorts to look at.

How many people can stay in a room at All-Star Sports?

Four, plus one child under three in a cot. There are no family suites at All-Star Sports — All-Star Music has those, sleeping six. A party of five has to book two rooms here, which usually costs more than a suite elsewhere.

Is All-Star Sports too noisy?

It is the loudest category of Disney resort, with exterior walkways and pools that stay busy until close. A top-floor room away from the main pool is meaningfully quieter, and worth asking for at online check-in.
