You walk at your own speed. No motion, nothing enclosed, nothing frightening. The only demand is the walking itself, which is mostly shaded and level.

What animals are on the Maharajah Jungle Trek?

Tigers are the headline, in a large open habitat you view from several angles. There are also Komodo dragons, bats you can get unnervingly close to behind glass, and a walk-through aviary at the far end that most people rush.

How long does the Maharajah Jungle Trek take?

About twenty-five minutes at an unhurried pace, and there is no queue — you walk in. It takes as long as you choose to spend, which is the difference between seeing a tiger and watching one.

When is the best time for the Maharajah Jungle Trek?

Earlier in the day, for the same reason as the safari — the animals are more active before the heat sets in. Tigers in particular spend Florida afternoons asleep in the shade, which is less of a spectacle.
