Is it worth the money?
Yes, if the character list is the reason you are going. No, if you are buying dinner.
Nowhere else puts Aladdin, Cinderella, Mirabel and Tiana in one room. That is the product. Tiana appears in her Tiana's Bayou Adventure look, which is exclusive to this restaurant — at Magic Kingdom's Princess Fairytale Hall she wears the ball gown. Mirabel is scarce across property generally. If the four of them are on your child's list, the alternative is four separate queues in two parks.
Characters come to the tables, and there is a wish ceremony led by all four during the meal, plus autographs and an autograph card.
Sources disagree on whether Tiana meets at the table. WDW Prep School, dining 9 June 2024, described all characters coming to each table. KennythePirate reported in July 2024 that Tiana had moved to a separate greeting location outside the restaurant while still coming in for the wish ceremony. Reviews from 2026 describe her visiting tables again. Disney's own page says only that these friends "may include" the four and "make special appearances while you dine." We have not confirmed the current arrangement in person; if Tiana is the reason for the booking, ask at check-in.
It is loud. WDW Prep School's review names the noise as its main complaint — louder than other buffets at peak times, hard to hear across a table. A carousel-themed room with Big Bertha, the resort's 1988 band organ, is not built for conversation.
The price has moved $3 in twenty-seven months. Adults were $66 and children $41 on 9 June 2024; they are $69 and $44 now. That is 4.5% on the adult and 7.3% on the child — under general inflation for the period, which is not something we get to say about many Disney prices.
Who it’s right for
Families whose children want Tiana, Mirabel, Aladdin or Cinderella, and especially any two of them. Anyone staying on the monorail loop. Breakfast eaters, who get the larger buffet for $11 less. Anyone who wants a character meal without the Magic Kingdom ticket — the Grand Floridian is outside the gates.
Who it’s wrong for
Adults dining without children, who are paying $69 for a hotel buffet and a wish ceremony. Anyone who needs a quiet room. Anyone chasing Mickey and the classic five, who wants Chef Mickey's or Topolino's. And anyone expecting the old restaurant — the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast and Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner did not come back, and Disney's own page keywords are the only place their names survive.
What is actually good
The price is the menu here, because the buffet is the menu. Read from Disney's own pages on 11 September 2026: dinner $69 per adult and $44 per child, breakfast $58 and $37, all plus tax and gratuity. Dinner is $11 more a head than breakfast — 19% — and a family of two adults and two children pays $226 at dinner against $190 at breakfast before tax and tip.
Dinner runs a carving station with Prime Rib, Tiana's Gumbo with Spicy Andouille Sausage, Peel-n-Eat Shrimp, Baked Salmon with Saffron-Lemon Butter, Curry-roasted Chicken, Roasted Garlic Sausage, and Peruvian-style Potatoes made with Impossible beef. Five desserts, including a Toasted Coconut Cake with Guava Jam and Hibiscus Crème.
Breakfast is the bigger spread — Eggs Benedict, omelets to order, Beef and Potato Hash, Biscuits and Sausage Gravy, Mickey-shaped Waffles, Croissant Breakfast Pizza, Carved Ham, Smoked Salmon, a Spiced Tofu Scramble, and Bread Pudding with Vanilla Crème Anglaise.
The Grand Floridian Strawberry Soup survived the four-year closure and is served at both meals. It is the one dish people come back for and the only thing on either buffet that is genuinely famous.
Disney bands breakfast "$$$$, over $60 per adult" while pricing it at $58. That is not an error on either side. Disney's own footnote defines the band as "the average adult price of entire meal and non-alcoholic beverages," excluding alcohol, tax and gratuity — so a $58 buffet plus a drink clears $60. Worth knowing because the same footnote governs every character meal and buffet on the site.
Portions
It is a buffet; the portion is however many trips you make. What matters is timing them. Characters work the room table by table in a set path, so the trip to the carving station is the trip where you miss Cinderella. Watch which way the path is running, then go.
Allergies and dietary needs
Better than most buffets and it is signposted. Breakfast carries a Spiced Tofu Scramble with Vegetables and Disney lists "a variety of Plant-based Options" alongside the fruit and cereals; dinner's Peruvian-style Potatoes are made with Impossible beef, and the Mediterranean Kale Salad and Couscous Salad are both meatless. An Allergen Guide is handed over on arrival rather than kept behind the counter. Shellfish is out in the open at dinner — peel-and-eat shrimp on ice — which matters for a severe allergy at a self-serve line.
