Is it worth the money?
Yes, for dessert, not dinner. Around $32 a head is fair for a burger and a sundae, and the room is charming. It is tiny — around 30 seats — which is why a small soda shop is one of the harder bookings on property. The Kitchen Sink is a spectacle rather than a dessert; order it for a group and expect not to finish it.
Who it’s right for
Dessert, and specifically the Kitchen Sink if you have four people and a sense of humour. It also suits anyone staying at the Beach Club or Yacht Club who wants a short, unfussy meal without leaving the resort.
Who it’s wrong for
Anyone treating it as dinner. The room is tiny and books out, the menu is a diner menu, and paying around $32 a head for a burger makes sense only if the sundae is the real reason you came. Large parties will struggle to be seated together.
What is actually good
The Kitchen Sink is $39 and is built for four people — eight scoops with every topping in the shop, served in a washbasin. Ordinary sundaes are $9.25 to $14.50 and the speciality shakes $16. Entrées run $18 to $23, so a burger and a shake is about $34. Order the Kitchen Sink for a table, never for one.

The sundaes are the point and they are enormous. A single-person sundae here is a shared dessert anywhere else.
