Disney's Beach Club Resort
The short answer
The Beach Club has Stormalong Bay — three acres of sand-bottomed pool with a lazy river and a shipwreck slide, and the best hotel pool in Florida — and a five-minute walk to EPCOT's back entrance. Rooms start around $638 a night in 2026. For an EPCOT and Hollywood Studios trip, nothing else comes close.

Who it’s right for
Trips built around EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, families with children who will live in Stormalong Bay, and anyone who wants to walk to a park, not queue for transport. The Food and Wine Festival from a five-minute walk away is a different experience.
Who it’s wrong for
Magic Kingdom-focused trips — it is a bus or a long transfer from here, and you are paying deluxe prices for it. Also wrong if you want a quiet resort: Stormalong Bay is the busiest pool on property and the whole resort is arranged around it.
Is it worth the money?
For an EPCOT and Hollywood Studios trip, yes, unambiguously, and the pool alone justifies a day of the holiday. Walking into EPCOT in five minutes changes how a park day works: you go back for a nap and return, which is not realistic from a bus resort. For a Magic Kingdom trip it makes no sense at all, and the monorail resorts are the answer instead.

What the rooms are actually like
About 381 square feet sleeping five, in a New England seaside scheme that is pale, bright and much less dark than Wilderness Lodge or Animal Kingdom Lodge. Rooms are comfortable, not remarkable — you are not paying for the room here.
Sleeps up to 5, not counting infants — the table below says which room that takes.
Every room type, and who fits in it
Disney returns one room list for the whole property, covering Beach Club and Beach Club Villas. It does not say which rooms belong to which, so neither do we. Straight from Disney’s own booking data, checked 2026-09-19. Occupancy excludes infants — Disney counts a baby in a cot separately, which is why a room that “sleeps 5” here can appear as 6 on their site.

Which room should you request?
Stormalong Bay is shared with the Yacht Club next door and restricted to guests of both, and it is busy from opening to close. Rooms overlooking it hear it. The walk to EPCOT's International Gateway is about five minutes; the boat to Hollywood Studios takes roughly twenty, and walking it takes about the same.

Rooms were refurbished in the late 2010s to the current lighter scheme. Beaches & Cream was rebuilt and expanded in 2019.
Working from here
workable
A desk and good wifi, and the lobby and Ale & Compass are pleasant to work from. Not as well set up as the Contemporary or Coronado, but entirely usable.
Common questions
- Can you walk from the Beach Club to EPCOT?
- Yes, about five minutes to the International Gateway entrance at the back of World Showcase. It is the shortest resort-to-park walk at Walt Disney World and it changes how a park day works — going back for an afternoon break becomes realistic, not theoretical.
- What is Stormalong Bay?
- A three-acre sand-bottomed pool complex with a lazy river, multiple pools and a slide through a shipwreck, shared between the Beach Club and Yacht Club and restricted to guests of those two resorts. It is widely considered the best hotel pool in Florida and is a reason to book by itself.
- Beach Club or Yacht Club?
- They share Stormalong Bay, the location and the price band, and differ in tone — the Beach Club is pale, casual and seaside; the Yacht Club is darker, more formal and nautical. Families lean Beach Club, couples and conference guests lean Yacht Club. Neither choice is wrong.
- How far is the Beach Club from Hollywood Studios?
- A boat of about twenty minutes, or a walk of roughly the same along the BoardWalk. Having both options, and a five-minute walk to EPCOT, is what makes this the strongest resort for a two-park trip on that side of the property.
