The short answer
The Yacht Club shares Stormalong Bay and the five-minute EPCOT walk with the Beach Club next door, at almost the same price — $636 a night in 2026 against the Beach Club's $638. The difference is entirely tone: darker, more formal, and quieter. Choose on atmosphere, because everything else is identical.

Who it’s right for
Adults and couples doing EPCOT and Hollywood Studios who want the location and the pool without the Beach Club's busier, more child-centred lobby. Also the better of the pair if anyone in the party is working during the trip.
Who it’s wrong for
Magic Kingdom trips, exactly as with the Beach Club — this side of the property is the wrong end for that, and you are paying deluxe rates for a long transfer. Also wrong for families who want their children close to the pool, where the Beach Club's layout is simply better.
Is it worth the money?
On exactly the same terms as the Beach Club, which is the honest answer — five minutes to EPCOT, the best pool in Florida, and a boat or walk to Hollywood Studios. If both are available at similar rates the choice is tone, not value. Adults and couples generally prefer this one; families with young children generally prefer next door.

What the rooms are actually like
About 381 square feet sleeping five, the same footprint as the Beach Club, in a darker nautical scheme — navy, brass and dark wood against the Beach Club's pale seaside blues. Guests describe the Yacht Club as the grown-up one, which is accurate but understates how similar the two actually are.

Which room should you request?
Quieter than the Beach Club because the lobby is not on the route to Stormalong Bay. The pool is shared between the two resorts and restricted to guests of both, so you get identical pool access from either, but the Yacht Club's rooms are further from it, which cuts both ways depending on whether you have children.

What has changed recently?
Rooms were refurbished in the late 2010s to the current nautical scheme. The Yacht Club also carries most of the convention business for this pair of resorts, which is why it is the quieter of the two at the pool and the busier in the lobby on weekday mornings.

A desk, good wifi, and the lobby and Crew's Cup are among the better places to work at any Disney resort — quieter than the Beach Club's equivalent spaces for the same reason the whole resort is.

- It is one of the stronger steakhouses on property and rather less contested than California Grill or Victoria & Albert's, which makes it a realistic booking rather than an aspirational one. Worth it if you want a serious meal without planning the holiday around the reservation.
