Signature
Yachtsman Steakhouse
The short answer
The signature steakhouse at Disney's Yacht Club, a ten-minute walk from EPCOT's International Gateway. Steaks $60 to $83 in September 2026, other mains $38 to $62. Dinner only, 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM. The best steak on Disney property and priced like it — every cut on the menu costs more than Disney's own price band for the restaurant.

Is it worth the money?
If you want the best steak at Walt Disney World, yes, and there is not a close second.
Disney ages the beef in-house and the room is a quiet, knotty-pine New England dining room rather than a themed one — no soundtrack, no characters, no show. For two adults on an anniversary that is the point. For a family mid-trip it is an expensive hour with nothing for a child to look at.
Budget from the menu, not the badge. At $65 for a filet plus $14.50 for macaroni cheese, one person ordering one steak and one side is at $79.50 before a drink, a starter or a tip — against a Disney band that tops out at $59.99.
On the walk. It is about ten minutes from EPCOT's International Gateway, which makes it one of very few signature restaurants you can reach on foot from a park. That matters more than it sounds: it is the difference between a bus at the end of a long day and a walk.
Disney has posted a Skyliner refurbishment: "Disney Skyliner will not be in service due to refurbishment. Complimentary bus service will be available during this time." This page gives the dates as Sunday 24 to Saturday 30 January with no year; Disney's Flying Fish page states the same closure as 24 to 30 January 2027, which is also the only year those weekdays fit. Two Disney pages, one dated and one not, agreeing.
Who it’s right for
Two adults who want a serious steak and a quiet room. Anyone staying at the Yacht Club, Beach Club, BoardWalk or Swan and Dolphin, who can walk. Anyone eating at EPCOT and wanting somewhere better than World Showcase for the same money. Diners with allergies, who get a genuine parallel menu rather than a conversation.
Who it’s wrong for
Families with young children — there is nothing to look at and the bill is severe. Vegetarians, who get one main. Anyone budgeting from Disney's $35 to $59.99 band — six of the ten mains cost more than $59.99. And anyone wanting Disney theming, which this room deliberately does not have.
What is actually good
Read from Disney's own dinner menu on 11 September 2026.
Five steaks, $60 to $83, averaging $68.20. A 14-oz Roasted Prime Rib at $60, a 12-oz Prime New York Strip and a 7-oz Filet Mignon both at $65, a 22-oz Prime Bone-In Rib-Eye at $68, and a 10-oz American Wagyu New York Strip at $83.
Five other mains, $38 to $62, averaging $47.60. Black Garlic Fettuccine $38, Pan-seared Chicken $40, Marinated Pork Tenderloin $46, Citrus-glazed Short Rib $52, Chilean Sea Bass $62.
Nothing comes with the steak. Sides are $10.50 to $14.50 — truffle macaroni and cheese at $14.50 is the dearest, creamed spinach and truffle fries at $10.50. Enhancements on top of a cut run $25 for Oscar-style or seared shrimp and $31 for half a Maine lobster thermidor. A flight of steakhouse sauces is $9.
First courses are $15 to $38: French onion soup $15, three salads and a beef carpaccio at $16 to $17, lobster bisque and wagyu pappardelle at $19, shrimp cocktail $23.
Disney bands this restaurant $$$, "$35 to $59.99 per adult", and six of the ten mains cost more than that ceiling — including all five steaks. The ten-main average of $57.90 does sit inside the band, which is how a badge can be arithmetically defensible and still describe nobody's actual order. You came for a steak; every steak is above it.
Disney lists Black Garlic Fettuccine twice at $38, once under First Course and once under Land and Sea Entrées. Their duplication, not ours.
Portions
Steakhouse-sized and plated bare. A 22-oz bone-in rib-eye is a large piece of meat and arrives with nothing beside it, so a table of two ordering two steaks and two sides is the normal shape and lands near $160 before drinks. The first courses are generous enough that the shrimp cocktail at $23 works as a light meal for a child who will not eat a steak.
Allergies and dietary needs
Better handled than most signature restaurants. Disney publishes a full allergy-friendly parallel menu — first courses, steaks, enhancements, land and sea entrées, sides, desserts and both children's sections — rather than the usual note telling you to ask. The Black Garlic Fettuccine at $38 is the vegetarian main and the only one, which is thin for a $60-a-head restaurant.
Common questions
- How much is Yachtsman Steakhouse?
- Steaks ran $60 to $83 on Disney's own dinner menu in September 2026 and other mains $38 to $62. Sides are $10.50 to $14.50 and are not included. One steak, one side and a drink lands near $95 before tip.
- Why is Disney's price range too low for Yachtsman?
- Disney bands it "$35 to $59.99 per adult". Six of the ten mains cost more than $59.99, including every steak on the menu. The ten-main average of $57.90 does fall inside the band, which is how the badge stays arithmetically defensible while describing nobody's actual order.
- Can you walk to Yachtsman Steakhouse from EPCOT?
- Yes, about ten minutes from the International Gateway at the back of World Showcase. It is one of the few signature restaurants on property you can reach from a park on foot, which is worth more at the end of a long day than the menu suggests.
- Is Yachtsman Steakhouse good for allergies?
- Unusually so. Disney publishes a complete allergy-friendly parallel menu covering first courses, steaks, enhancements, mains, sides, desserts and both children's sections, rather than the standard note telling you to speak to a chef.
