Maya Grill

The short answer

Mexican and steakhouse dinners at Coronado Springs. Five taco plates average $30.80, and they are the value; thirteen mains average $37.23. That is above the $34.99 ceiling of Disney's own price band, which Disney's page defines as the average adult dinner entrée — so here the band is wrong by Disney's own definition.

Is it worth the money?

For tacos or a shared parrillada, yes. For the headline steak, less so.

The tacos are where the value is. $30.80 on average for a full plate is fair for a table-service dinner in a Disney resort. A couple sharing the $75 parrillada pays $37.50 each for a spread that beats two single mains.

The steak and the whole fish are priced like a signature restaurant. They are $66 and $58, in a room Disney bands as moderate. That is what pulls the average above the band. If you came for a steak, Yachtsman or Le Cellier are the purpose-built options.

Who runs it matters a little. Maya Grill is operated by Palmas, a group that runs several of Coronado Springs' restaurants and bars, according to its own site. Disney's page raises no dining-plan or payment restrictions, unlike the Swan and Dolphin restaurants. Check at booking if you are paying with plan credits.

It is dinner only, 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. If you are staying at Coronado Springs and want breakfast, it is not here.

Who it’s right for

Coronado Springs guests who want a proper sit-down dinner without leaving the resort. Couples, who can share a parrillada. Taco eaters. Anyone who wants Mexican food with a full bar and a margarita list.

Who it’s wrong for

Anyone not staying at Coronado Springs, who has better Mexican food a boat ride away at Disney Springs. Vegetarians, who get one main. Anyone wanting breakfast or lunch. And anyone who reads "$15 to $34.99 per adult" and budgets to it.

What is actually good

Read from Disney's own dinner menu on 12 September 2026.

Five taco plates, $26 to $34, averaging $30.80. Chipotle Mushrooms at $26 and Pork Belly at $28. Tacos Gobernador, shrimp with chipotle and poblano, at $32. Campechanos, brisket and chorizo, and Baja Fish Tacos both at $34.

Six plato principal dishes, $26 to $66, averaging $43.17. A Chicken Quesadilla at $26, Chicken Enchiladas at $32, a guava-glazed Medio Pollo Asado at $34, and a braised pork Ossobuco Al Pastor at $43. At the top are a whole butterflied Pescado a la Talla at $58 and a 14oz Kansas City strip at $66. Chicken fajitas are $34 and steak fajitas $37.

Counted together, the thirteen mains average $37.23. Disney bands Maya Grill $$, "$15 to $34.99 per adult". Disney's own footnote on the page says that range "reflects the average price of adult dinner entrées". By that definition the band should read one tier higher.

Two platters are priced for two, and are not counted as mains. The Maya Grill Parrillada is $75: a 12oz bavette steak with chimichurri and grilled chicken, with rice, beans and tortillas. That is $37.50 a head. The Parrillada del Mar is $80: shrimp, scallops and fish, which is $40.00 a head.

Several third-party menu listings still show an older parrillada: skirt steak, chicken and shrimp at $80 for two or $140 for four. Disney's current menu shows two different platters and no four-person size. Go by Disney's.

Seven aperitivos, $12 to $17. Chips with chipotle salsa and queso blanco is $12, tortilla soup $13, and corn ribs $15. Guacamole is $16 and an ahi tuna tostada $17. Six sides at $9 each. Five desserts, $13 to $16, plus a café de olla made tableside at $15.

Portions

Proper dinner plates. The taco plates are three or four tacos with sides, a full meal on their own. The parrilladas are genuinely sized for two and arrive as a spread, and they are the better way for a couple to eat here than two $34 mains.

Allergies and dietary needs

Workable for vegetarians, though not generous. The Chipotle Mushrooms tacos at $26 are the only meatless main. After that there is the Strawberry Beet Salad, the Poblano Caesar, corn ribs, guacamole, chips, and several of the $9 sides — roasted mushrooms, grilled broccoli with salsa macha, sweet plantains. Pork and chorizo appear in several dishes that do not lead with them, such as the Campechanos and the queso fundido, so ask. Seafood is easy to find and easy to avoid.
