Narcoossee's
The short answer
The Grand Floridian's waterfront seafood restaurant, on the Seven Seas Lagoon with the Magic Kingdom fireworks across the water. Entrees $36 to $89. It is the monorail signature to book if you want fish and not steak, and the view is the second reason.

Is it worth the money?
For an occasion, yes. For a Tuesday, it is expensive.
At roughly $95 a head before wine this is priced with California Grill and above Jiko, and what it adds over both is the water. The room sits out over the Seven Seas Lagoon and the Magic Kingdom fireworks go up across it — book late enough and you watch them from the table, with the audio piped in.
The cooking is good without being exceptional. Blackened Redfish at $55 and the scallops at $59 are the plates that justify the bill; the Surf & Turf at $89 is the one that does not.
The practical warning: fireworks seating is not guaranteed and cannot be reserved. If watching them is the reason you are booking, aim for a reservation around 75 to 90 minutes before the show and accept that you may be facing the wrong way. California Grill guarantees the view and charges for it.
Who it’s right for
Anniversaries and occasions, which is most of the room on any given night. Seafood eaters, since this is the best fish on the monorail loop. Anyone staying at the Grand Floridian or Polynesian, who can walk or take one stop. And guests who want the fireworks without California Grill's prices.
Who it’s wrong for
Families with young children — it is quiet, slow and priced accordingly. Anyone on a budget. Guests who assume a fireworks view comes with the booking, since it does not. And anyone who wants a steakhouse, which is Steakhouse 71 or California Grill.
What is actually good
Entrees run $36 to $89: Mushroom & Potato Cannelloni $36, Gulf Shrimp Bucatini $44, Grilled Pork Chop $49, Korean BBQ Glazed Salmon $49, Blackened Redfish $55, Plancha-Seared Scallops $59, and Surf & Turf at $89.
Starters $16 to $49 — the Half-pound King Crab at $49 is the outlier and the Shrimp and Grits at $20 the one most tables order. The Ocean-inspired Charcuterie Board is $30. Desserts $15 to $17; the Key Lime Pie at $16 is the one to finish on. Prices checked 9 September 2026.
Portions
Signature-sized and precisely plated. Two courses is a meal. The King Crab starter at $49 is genuinely shareable and the Surf & Turf at $89 is the only plate most people cannot finish.
Allergies and dietary needs
Reasonable. The Mushroom & Potato Cannelloni at $36 is a proper plant-based main, not a substitution, and a seafood kitchen handles gluten-free easily. Shellfish allergies need flagging early given how much of the menu is built on them.
Common questions
- Can you see the fireworks from Narcoossee's?
- Sometimes, and it is not guaranteed. The restaurant sits over the Seven Seas Lagoon facing Magic Kingdom and the audio is piped in during the show, but seating is not assigned by view and cannot be reserved. Book 75 to 90 minutes before the show for the best chance. California Grill guarantees it and charges more.
- How much is Narcoossee's?
- Entrees $36 to $89 — cannelloni $36, bucatini $44, pork chop $49, salmon $49, redfish $55, scallops $59, Surf & Turf $89. Starters $16 to $49, desserts $15 to $17. About $95 a head before wine. Checked 9 September 2026.
- What is the dress code?
- Business casual, like the other Grand Floridian signatures. Trousers or a skirt with a collared shirt or blouse; no swimwear, tank tops or hats. It is enforced more consistently here than at park restaurants.
- Narcoossee's or California Grill?
- Both are monorail signatures at similar money. California Grill is on the Contemporary's fifteenth floor with a guaranteed fireworks view and a broader menu. Narcoossee's is at water level with better seafood and no guaranteed view. Book California Grill for the occasion, Narcoossee's for the fish.
- Is it suitable for children?
- Not especially. It is quiet, slow and seafood-led, and at these prices a child who does not eat fish is expensive. Grand Floridian Cafe downstairs is the family option at the same resort, and it is considerably cheaper.
