Is it worth the money?

For what it is, yes: a sports bar with table service, at prices below most Disney table-service restaurants. It is the place at Walt Disney World to watch a game — Disney counts 31 TVs.

Breakfast is the lesser-known meal here. WDWInfo reviewed it in October 2023 and rated it 3.6 to 4.3 out of 5 across three diners. The plantain French toast was the hit, and the viral chicken-stuffed Mickey waffles came out overcooked. The waffles were $18 then and are $20 now. The avocado toast was $14 with one egg; it is $16 now, with two.

It is noisy when a game is on. WDWInfo found it quiet at 10 am, but warned that it can get rowdy during games. If you want a quiet meal, come outside game time.

It is not run by Disney. Palmas Restaurant Group names Rix on its own site. Palmas also operates at EPCOT's Mexico pavilion and runs Frontera Cocina at Disney Springs.

The 2027 dining plan is not confirmed. Disney's own listing tags Rix for the 2026 table-service plan but not for 2027, and Disney Food Blog's 2027 list marks it "Not Yet Confirmed" as of 10 September 2026. The blog notes that restaurants not owned by Disney often confirm late in the year. If you are booking a 2027 trip on the plan, check again before counting on it.

What is actually good

Read from Disney's own menus for Rix on 12 September 2026. The lunch and dinner menus are identical.

Eight mains, $19 to $32, averaging $23.88. A croissant turkey club is $19, and grilled cheese with the soup of the day $20. Most sit at $24: a chicken milanesa sandwich, a patty melt, a shredded-sirloin Steak Out sandwich, a bacon cheeseburger with waffle fries, and fish and chips. An 8oz sirloin steak frites is $32. A tuna poke bowl is $25, and two salads are $16.

Six starters, $16 to $28, averaging $20.83. Loaded waffle fries ("Watchos") and mozzarella sticks are $16, Bam-Bam chicken $17, and six wings $20 — twelve are $25. A Triple Play sampler and a charcuterie board are $28 each.

Breakfast is its own menu: twelve entrées, $14 to $32, averaging $18.67. An açaí power bowl is $14. Pancakes, avocado toast, an omelet and an all-American breakfast are $16 to $18. Chicken and Mickey churro waffles with hot honey are $20, and steak and eggs $32.

Desserts are $10 to $16. Key lime pie is $10; fried Oreos and a brownie à la mode are $16 each.

The bar: beers $8 to $13, wines $10 to $16, cocktails $13 to $23, a mimosa flight $24, and a bottle of sparkling wine with two juice carafes $47.

Disney's two price signals disagree. The restaurant page bands Rix $$, "$15 to $34.99 per adult". Disney's own dining finder tags it $. The mains average of $23.88 fits $$.

Portions

Sports-bar portions. Sandwiches and burgers come with waffle fries, and the starters are sized for a table to share over a game.

Allergies and dietary needs

Thin for plant-based diners. The burger can take a plant-based patty for $2 more, and the Bam-Bam chicken can be made with cauliflower. The breakfast menu has an açaí bowl, oatmeal, and avocado toast that WDWInfo says can be ordered without eggs. Disney's menu carries its standard allergy note but prints no allergy-friendly versions of dishes — unlike Three Bridges at the same resort, which prints one for almost every dish.
