The short answer

Scat Cat's Club is the New Orleans-style jazz lounge at Port Orleans French Quarter, open 5pm to midnight. Disney says it closes for refurbishment from 6 October 2026 until January 2027, with a temporary bar near Scat Cat's Club Café meanwhile. Cocktails are $14 to $21.50 and bites $12 to $25.

Is it worth the money?

For live jazz and a cheaper cocktail, yes. The two lists that rank it differ on when the music plays: Ziggy Knows Disney, 20th, says live jazz five nights a week, Wednesday to Sunday; Disney Tourist Blog, 18th, says Friday to Sunday, and calls the other nights low-key. Anyone visiting between 6 October 2026 and January 2027, when the lounge itself is closed.

What is actually good

Specialty cocktails: the Hurricane $16.50, a Sazerac, Bebop Bloody Mary and whisky sour $17.50, bourbon peach tea $18.50, and the Syncopation Shift $21.50; 21 other cocktails at $14 to $18.50. Abita beers on draft are $11.75.
