Is it worth the money?
Yes, and it is the value pick for a sit-down dinner at Walt Disney World. At $39 an adult it undercuts every other fixed-price family-style dinner we cover. Liberty Tree Tavern is $45 and Whispering Canyon's skillet $45, both checked 8 and 9 September 2026. Roundup Rodeo BBQ is $49, and 'Ohana $67.
What reviewers praise, across three years: the rolls and the bread pudding, the salad, and the value. Disney Tourist Blog called it the best dinner deal at Walt Disney World in 2021. Wandering in Disney rated it 8.5 out of 10 in January 2026.
What they criticise: the meats. Wandering in Disney wrote they are not the highest quality at Walt Disney World, and found the vegetables forgettable. The Disney Journey's complaints were no Disney theming at all and courses arriving too fast.
There is no kids' menu. Children get the same family-style meal at $21. The Disney Journey called that a problem for families with picky eaters.
It is easy to book. The Disney Journey got a table about an hour ahead in 2023, with several times to choose from. It is off the main tourist track, and most people who eat here are staying at Caribbean Beach or ride the Skyliner over.
Who it’s right for
Families and groups who want a sit-down dinner without signature prices. Anyone staying on the Skyliner line. Plant-based diners, who get a real equivalent menu at the same price. Anyone on the Disney dining plan.
Who it’s wrong for
Families with picky young eaters, since there is no kids' menu. Anyone who wants Disney theming or characters. Anyone who wants a steak worth the name — the meats are the weak point.
What is actually good
Read from Disney's own dinner menu for Sebastian's Bistro on 12 September 2026.
One meal, one price: $39 an adult and $21 a child aged 3 to 9, plus tax and gratuity. Disney calls it the Taste of the Caribbean, and it comes to the table in courses.
- Rolls: buttery house-baked pull-apart rolls with guava butter and caramelized onion jam. - Salad: the Spice Necklace Salad, mixed greens with spiced candied pumpkin seeds, tropical fruit and radish with key lime dressing. - The Island Feast: oven-roasted chicken with Caribbean barbecue sauce, slow-cooked mojo pork with mango sambal, chili-rubbed beef with chimichurri, and baked fish with tomato salsa and citrus butter. - Sides: cilantro rice and beans, seasonal vegetables and sweet plantains. - Dessert: coconut-pineapple bread pudding with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream.
Two paid add-ons: a crab cake with mango slaw and guajillo aïoli at $13, and fried coconut shrimp with sweet chili sauce at $10.
The bar leans on rum. Cocktails are $15.50 to $19.50. A flight of three Caribbean rums is $18.50, as is a build-your-own rum old fashioned. Beers run $9.25 to $13, including Carib from Trinidad and Tobago, Prestige from Haiti and Dragon Stout from Jamaica. Non-alcoholic frozen drinks are $5.79 to $7.29.
The price has climbed $10 in five years. Disney Tourist Blog paid $29 an adult when the family-style format arrived in June 2021. The Disney Journey quoted $35 in July 2023, and Wandering in Disney $39 in January 2026.
Disney bands it $$$, "$35 to $59.99 per adult". The $39 fixed price sits inside it.
Portions
Generous, and more comes if you ask. Disney's menu never calls it all-you-care-to-enjoy, so treat that as a courtesy, not a promise. Disney Tourist Blog noted in 2021 that it was not advertised that way but that more could be requested. The Disney Journey said in 2023 that its server kept asking whether anything needed replenishing. Wandering in Disney wrote in January 2026 that you can ask for more of a particular item.
Allergies and dietary needs
Better than most for plant-based diners. Disney prints a full plant-based version, the Harvest of the Caribbean, at the same price. It has rolls with plant-based guava butter, the same salad and sides, and a main of Impossible beef kebab, fried jerk tofu, plant-based sausage and a Caribbean "fish" cake. Dessert is a plant-based bread pudding with soy frozen dessert.
The menu also prints allergy-friendly versions of both meals and of both add-ons, with the allergens each one is for. Disney says you must speak to a cast member about the allergy-friendly request.
