Caribbean Beach is the Skyliner hub — every gondola line passes through it, which makes it the best-connected moderate resort on property. Rooms start around $310 a night in 2026. It is also the largest and most spread out of the moderates, and that cuts both ways.

Who it’s right for
Families who want moderate space and a table-service restaurant, and who are doing EPCOT and Hollywood Studios days. As the Skyliner hub it has the best transport of any moderate, and Sebastian's Bistro is one of the better resort restaurants at this price.
Who it’s wrong for
Anyone who cannot walk far, or who will be unhappy in a village fifteen minutes from the main hall, and you cannot guarantee which village you get. It is also the wrong choice for Magic Kingdom-heavy trips, where the Skyliner does nothing and the buses are shared across a very large resort.
Is it worth the money?
Yes, if you get a village near the Skyliner. Every gondola line meets here, so EPCOT and Hollywood Studios become a walk-on ride rather than a bus queue, and you have a table-service restaurant and a pool with a slide that no value resort offers. Get put in Jamaica and the calculation changes completely — it is a long walk to everything.

What the rooms are actually like
314 square feet, meaningfully larger than a value room, with two queen beds or a king. Most rooms sleep four; a handful of Preferred rooms take five with a pull-down single. The bathroom has a proper double vanity outside the shower room, which is the difference families notice first.

Which room should you request?
The resort wraps a 42-acre lake and the villages are a long way apart — Trinidad and Martinique can be a fifteen-minute walk from each other. Jamaica and Aruba are furthest from the Skyliner. Internal buses run between villages, which tells you something about the scale.

What has changed recently?
Substantially rebuilt between 2017 and 2019 — Old Port Royale was replaced with the current Centertown Market and Sebastian's Bistro, and the Skyliner station opened in September 2019, turning the resort into the hub of the whole gondola network.

A desk and a chair designed for sitting at, and the room is large enough to work in without sitting on the bed. Wifi is adequate. Better than any value resort, short of a deluxe.

- How much is Caribbean Beach per night?
- From about $310 in the cheapest 2026 season to $515 over Christmas, rack rate including 12.5% tax. That is roughly $100 a night more than Pop Century, and buys a larger room, a table-service restaurant and a pool with a slide.
- Is Caribbean Beach the Skyliner hub?
- Yes — and there are two stations on the property, not one. Every Skyliner line passes through Caribbean Beach, which makes it the best-connected moderate resort for EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. It also means the main station can be busy at rope drop, since guests from other resorts change here; the Riviera platform at the north end is usually quieter.
- Which village is best at Caribbean Beach?
- Two Skyliner stations serve the resort, not one, and that flips the usual advice. Aruba and Jamaica sit closest to a platform — roughly 170 and 230 metres. Martinique is furthest from any station at about 490 metres, though it is the nearest to Centertown Market; Trinidad is the furthest from Centertown. These are straight-line distances from the resort’s mapped coordinates, so a walk around Barefoot Bay is longer.
- Does Caribbean Beach have rooms for five?
- Some Preferred rooms sleep five with a pull-down single, but most rooms sleep four. If you need five beds guaranteed, book a Preferred room explicitly, not requesting one, or look at a family suite at Art of Animation.
