Is it worth the money?

Yes. It is fairly priced for a room Disney sells on its view.

The band undersells nothing here. Entrées average $37.00, near the bottom of Disney's $35 to $59.99 range, in a rooftop room Disney itself advertises for its views. The thirteen Maya Grill mains, in the same resort, average $37.23 — Toledo costs the same and comes with the rooftop.

It takes the Disney dining plan. Disney's page shows it as plan-accepted, and its own kids' menu notes the character drink is "not included on Disney Dining Plan" — which only makes sense if the rest is.

The two-person options are the special occasion. $79.50 a head for the chef's dinner is a four-course meal with paella or a bone-in rib-eye. That is well under the signature rooms elsewhere on property.

It is dinner only, 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Sunset from the top of the Gran Destino Tower is the reason to book the early end of that window.

What is actually good

Six single-diner entrées, $33 to $41, averaging $37.00. A plant-based Mezcla de Verduras is $33 and Rioja-braised chicken with saffron bomba rice $34. A smoked pork chop and a marinated lamb loin are $37 each, plancha-seared salmon $40, and filet of beef with truffle mushrooms $41. Scallops, shrimp or jamón ibérico can be added for $10 to $12.

Two dishes are priced for two and are not counted as mains. The Chuletón bone-in rib-eye for two is $115 with two sides — $57.50 a head. The Chef's Signature Dinner for Two is $159, or $79.50 a head. It is a set menu of four pintxos, a charcuterie and cheese board, a choice of seafood paella or the rib-eye, and a dessert.

Seven tapas, $11 to $18, averaging $13.86. Marinated olives and a seasonal salad are $11, pan con tomate and a gazpacho trio $12, Rioja-braised chorizo $16, gambas al ajillo $17 and charred octopus $18. A charcuterie-and-cheese board for two is $40.

Six sides at $8.50 each — five marked plant-based, plus olive-oil potato purée. Four desserts, $9 to $13, including a progressive "Toledo Tapas Bar" dessert tasting at $13.

Disney bands it $$$, "$35 to $59.99 per adult". The $37.00 entrée average sits inside that band, and two of the six entrées are under $35, below its floor. This is one of the few restaurants where Disney's band is, if anything, cautious.

Portions

Proper entrées, and tapas meant for sharing. Two or three tapas across a table plus an entrée each is the natural order. The rib-eye for two and the chef's dinner for two are genuinely shared meals — the menu prices and describes them that way.

Allergies and dietary needs

Good for plant-based eaters, and clearly marked. The Mezcla de Verduras at $33 is a plant-based main; pan con tomate, the olives, five of the six sides and the citrus olive oil cake are all marked plant-based. Disney's allergy-friendly menu lists each dish against specific allergens. Chorizo turns up in dishes that do not lead with it — the pork chop and the regular Rioja chicken — so ask if pork matters.
