How much does a Disney cruise cost? Fares by ship, and everything added on top

What does a Disney cruise cost per night?

$478 to $740 a night for two in an inside cabin, depending on the ship. EverythingMouse averaged every sailing in the fall 2026 to spring 2027 release at its opening-day price, per night for two guests, with taxes and fees included and the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year sailings left out.

These are averages, not floors, and this page used to say both. The source is explicit: EverythingMouse headed its own list "Average Daily Rates (Opening Day) … Holidays Excluded", calculated per cabin per night for two guests including taxes and fees.

A floor and a holiday-excluded average are different statistics, and we published one set of numbers under both names — calling them "the cheapest cabin in each category" under the table and "average opening fares" two sections later. They are the averages.

Prices rise after opening day, holiday and rare sailings most.¹ The Adventure sails from Singapore, so for most North American and European cruisers the flights cancel its low fare. Our older-ships guide goes through which ships are cheaper and why.

A newer analysis by the same outlet disagrees with the table above, and both are cited on this page. The figures above come from EverythingMouse's fall 2026 – spring 2027 release, which that outlet last revised on 8 September 2025. It published a fresh analysis of the 2027–2028 release on 30 August 2026 with different averages for three ships:

They are not measuring the same thing, which is most of the explanation: different release years, different sets of sailings — the Magic figures come from 41 sailings across 222 cruise nights — and the newer analysis does not cover every ship, which is why the main table is still the 2026–27 one.

The direction is worth more than either number. On the newer release the Magic got cheaper and the Wonder got dearer, and on the Treasure almost nothing moved.

What neither set is: a quote. Disney does not publish cruise fares as a table, and we hold no fare of our own in the price record. Until we do, this page is reporting somebody else's arithmetic and saying whose.

Two other publishers now check the table, and it mostly holds. Until today every figure above came from one outlet, which our own sourcing rule does not allow however carefully the outlet works.

DCL Guide analysed 919 sailings from February 2026 to September 2027, pulled on 14 August 2026, and reports medians in the same unit this table uses — total for two guests with taxes and fees in. Its median inside cabin is $650 a night on a three-night and $643 on a seven-night.

The table above averages $618 across the eight ships, so an independent sample of 919 sailings lands 4 to 5% above us. That is corroboration, not agreement to the dollar, and at this level of precision it is the right result.¹¹

Where they disagree is the step up to a verandah. The table above implies +32% from inside to verandah, averaged across the ships. DCL Guide's median step is +23%, or $660 on a typical cruise. Both cannot be right, and we have no basis for preferring ours — it is one outlet's average of a single release against another's median of 919 sailings.

Treat a verandah as roughly a quarter more than an inside rather than a third, and price the actual sailing before you decide.

Disney's own booking pages confirm the basis, which is the part that matters most. Signed in on 21 September 2026, its cruise search states "All Prices Include Taxes, Fees & Port Expenses" and quotes every fare for 2 Guests — the same basis both outlets say they use.

A fare quoted per person, or before port expenses, would be a different number entirely, and the commonest way these comparisons go wrong.

And an average hides something this page should say out loud. The opening-day prices for individual named sailings show how wide the spread around any ship average is. Two Disney Dream three-night Bahamian cruises — same ship, same length, same itinerary, different dates — opened at $585 and $872 a night for two in an inside cabin, 49% apart.

Two Destiny four-night Bahamians were 39% apart. A Magic inside opened at $473 a night on a seven-night Alaska and $764 on a four-night Western Caribbean. The ship you choose matters less than the sailing you choose, and no per-ship table can tell you that.¹²

Those are totals for the whole cruise for two adults with taxes, fees and port expenses in — not per night — and they are opening-day snapshots rather than quotes. Fares move after opening day, usually upward.

What does a whole Disney cruise cost for two people?

Three worked examples, at those average opening fares plus Disney's recommended gratuity of $16 per guest per night:

At the very bottom of the market, EverythingMouse found three-night Dream cruises in January and February 2028 at $1,690 and $1,708 for two in an inside cabin. At the top, the cheapest concierge cabin on one sailing opened at $25,000.

What is included in a Disney cruise fare?

More than on most lines, which is part of why the headline fare is high. Disney Cruise Line's own FAQ lists:

• The stateroom, with taxes and port fees
• Every meal at the rotational restaurants, the buffet and quick-service counters, plus unlimited soft-serve
• Soft drinks, coffee and tea at meals and the beverage stations
• The Broadway-style shows, deck parties, films and character meets
• Pools, waterslides and the youth clubs for children, tweens and teens
• 24-hour room service, with fees on some items and deliveries
• Twice-daily stateroom service
• A day at Castaway Cay or Lookout Cay on most Bahamian and Caribbean sailings, with the barbecue lunch

What Disney lists as extra: Port Adventures, spa and salon, the nursery, photos, alcohol, some snack stations and the adults-only restaurants. Character dining with a fee, such as the Royal Tea experiences, is extra too.

What costs extra on a Disney cruise?

There is no unlimited alcohol package on any Disney ship, so the bar bill cannot be pre-paid. Wine packages run roughly $105 to $353, according to our ship pages. Port Adventures and cabanas are priced by port.

For two adults, gratuities and one Palo meal each, with its 18%, add about $258 to a four-night cruise before a single drink.

One government charge is rising: any sailing that calls in Mexico carries Mexico's cruise passenger fee, collected in the taxes and fees on your booking. It doubled to $10 a passenger on 1 August 2026 and is scheduled to reach $15 from August 2027 and $21 from August 2028, PAX reported; cruise contracts generally let lines pass on such increases after you book.

How do you pay less for a Disney cruise?

Change the date before you change the ship. EverythingMouse found the same six-night Fantasy itinerary at $3,761 for a verandah on 13 February 2028 and $5,381 on 9 April 2028, a $1,620 gap for the same cabin.
