What are the three Disney Visa cards?

Chase issues three, and Disney's own comparison page sets them out like this on 15 September 2026:

The rewards come as Disney Rewards Dollars, worth $1 each toward Disney tickets, hotels, cruises, food and merchandise in the U.S., with no blackout dates and no expiry. You load them onto a Redemption Card once you have 20.

The Inspire is new. It launched in early 2026, according to AwardWallet and CNBC Select, above the Premier that used to be the top card.

What does the $149 Inspire give back?

Three yearly credits, all exclusive to the Inspire, worth up to $420 together:

• $100 off theme park tickets, as a statement credit after you spend $200 a year on U.S. Disney park tickets bought directly from Disney. Tickets inside a Disney vacation package do not count.
• Up to $120 on streaming: $10 a month back when you spend $10 directly at DisneyPlus.com, Hulu.com or Stream.ESPN.com. It needs activating every year, and a subscription billed through a phone's app store does not qualify.
• 200 Rewards Dollars after $2,000 a year on U.S. Disney hotel or Disney Cruise Line bookings made directly with Disney.

Use all three and you are $271 ahead of the fee before earning a single percent. Use none and the Inspire earns only one point more than the Premier at Disney, so covering its extra $100 of fee takes $10,000 of Disney spending a year.

CNBC Select and AwardWallet reach the same verdict: worth it for a household that visits every year and streams through Disney, not for an occasional visitor.

What do all three cards get at Walt Disney World and on the ships?

Most of the park perks come with the no-fee card too, which is the part most comparisons miss.

At Walt Disney World, Disney Rewards lists for every cardmember:

• A private character photo spot at EPCOT, in World Celebration beside Journey Into Imagination With Figment, daily from 1:00pm to 6:30pm, with free photo downloads.
• Stitch at Celebrity Spotlight in Echo Lake at Hollywood Studios, 9:00am to noon, and a Star Wars photo spot between Galaxy's Edge and Toy Story Land, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
• 10% off select dining most days, and 10% off select merchandise and recreation.

On Disney Cruise Line, put the card on your stateroom account at check-in for 10% off select photo packages, merchandise, Castaway Cay Getaway Packages and Lookout Cay snorkel and bike rentals, and 20% off a massage or facial on port days.

Every card also gets 0% interest for six months on select Disney vacation packages. After that, the standard rate for new accounts is 18.24% to 27.74% variable.

What are the catches?

The welcome bonus is for newcomers to all three. Disney's comparison page says each card is available with its offer only if you hold none of the three and have not had a Disney card bonus in the past 24 months. A current Disney Visa holder cannot collect the Inspire's bonus.

The bonuses keep moving. On 15 September 2026 Disney's page offered $500 on the Inspire after $1,000 of spending in three months, $300 on the Premier and $150 on the no-fee card after $500. At the Inspire's launch, CNBC Select reported a $300 Disney gift card plus a $300 credit instead. TouringPlans forum members tracked the Premier at $400 through 2025.

Rewards Dollars only spend at Disney. They cannot be taken as cash or moved to an airline or hotel scheme, CNBC Select and AwardWallet both note. A general travel card earns points you can use anywhere, Disney included.

Interest wipes out the rewards. At 18% or more, a balance carried for a year costs far more than 1 to 3% back.

AwardWallet adds that Chase limits approvals for people who have opened five or more cards in two years, so a Disney card can use up a slot you might want for another Chase card.

So which Disney Visa, if any?

By the arithmetic on Disney's own terms:

• The no-fee Disney Visa is for anyone who wants the photo spots, the dining discount and the cruise savings without paying a fee. Its earning, 1% on everything, is ordinary.
• The $49 Premier needs about $4,900 a year at gas stations, groceries, restaurants and Disney to cover its fee from the extra 1%, and has no credits.
• The $149 Inspire earns its fee back through the credits, and only for a household that buys park tickets separately (annual passes count), streams directly through Disney and books $2,000 of Disney hotel or cruise a year.

The move experienced forum members describe is to take the card with the better welcome offer, then switch to the no-fee card before the second year's fee, since the extra earning alone rarely covers it.
