Do you have to finish the hunt to get the prize?
No. The map states that it can be redeemed whether or not you searched, and cast members offer the prize at the counter when you buy the map. Taking it upfront is a reasonable choice with young children — it removes the risk of running out of park time and turning a fun morning into a race.
What is the Egg-stravaganza prize?
A decorated plastic egg, chosen at redemption from a set of characters — Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale, Thumper and the White Rabbit in 2026. Redeem at Creations Shop, Disney Traders, Gateway Gifts or World Traveler at the International Gateway. One prize per map.
Which egg is hardest to find?
Morocco, by a distance. Alec Azam sits on top of Oasis Sweets and is mounted far above eye level, in a pavilion that already has more hidden corners than any other in World Showcase. Germany and Mexico are the other two that catch people out, both being on balconies — the general lesson is that this hunt rewards looking up more than looking around.
Is the Egg-stravaganza worth doing with children?
The Egg-stravaganza suits younger children better than the festival's other hunt. The eggs are large, brightly painted and at fixed points, not camouflaged in gardens, so a four-year-old can spot them. The Disney rabbit theme also does some quiet work: alongside Thumper and the White Rabbit are Oswald, Bean Bunny, Skippy and Alec Azam, which sends parents down a pleasant rabbit hole of their own.
