Is Glimmering Greenhouses worth going out of your way for?
For a first visit during the festival, yes, and for a specific reason: it is one of very few calm things to do at EPCOT in December. The ride is slow, seated, indoors and warm, it seldom holds a long queue even on busy days, and it lasts long enough to be a real rest.
Treat it as the break in the middle of a festival day rather than an attraction to queue for.
Who should skip Glimmering Greenhouses?
Anyone expecting a Christmas spectacle. The lights are tasteful, not dramatic, and most of the ride — the desert, prairie and rainforest dioramas before the greenhouses — is completely unchanged.
Anyone who has ridden Living with the Land recently and did not enjoy it will not be won over by the overlay, because the overlay is a lighting change and a new voice track, not a new ride.
