Vegan food at Disney World: every dish Disney files as plant-based, park by park, with prices

What does plant-based mean at Disney World?

Disney's definition: made with plant foods like grains, nuts, vegetables and fruit, and without animal meat, dairy, eggs or honey. On menus at the restaurants Disney runs itself, plant-based items carry a green leaf icon, and Disney says there are hundreds of them.

It is not quite the same as vegan. Disney uses "plant-based" deliberately, and some dishes are named after the animal product they replace: a "Patty Melt", Scrambled "Eggs", a Toasted Cheddar Sandwich. Theme Park Insider argued in 2023 that vegans should not rely on the label alone and should ask a chef, about cross-contact in shared kitchens as well as ingredients.

Where can you eat plant-based at each park?

Every dish below is one Disney's own menu data files under a plant-based heading, read on 15 September 2026. Counter-service prices are before tax.

Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios have the most places, seven each, counting sit-down restaurants. EPCOT's counter service is thin on this list, but EPCOT's festival booths are full of plant-based dishes during Food & Wine; see our Food & Wine vegan guide.

Which sit-down restaurants have plant-based meals?

Several character and family-style restaurants file a full plant-based menu, so a vegan in the party is not left with sides:

• Garden Grill at EPCOT: Plant-based Mickey Waffles and Impossible sausage at breakfast, pulled "pork" and smoked "sausage" at lunch.
• Akershus Royal Banquet Hall at EPCOT: plant-based waffles and scrambled "eggs", then bratwurst and meatballs.
• 'Ohana at the Polynesian, for breakfast and dinner.
• Liberty Tree Tavern and The Diamond Horseshoe at Magic Kingdom: an Impossible or plant-based meatloaf and a warm apple cake.
• Sebastian's Bistro at Caribbean Beach, at dinner.

These are set-price meals, so the plant-based version costs the same as the standard one.

What about the resort hotels?

Most value and moderate resort food courts file plant-based dishes, usually three to seven, breakfast included: the All-Stars, Pop Century, Art of Animation, Caribbean Beach and both Port Orleans. Everything POP at Pop Century had the most, seven, from $5.79. Coronado Springs' food court was the exception, with none under a plant-based heading.

The deluxe resorts' counter-service spots do too: Contempo Cafe, Gasparilla Island Grill, Capt. Cook's and The Mara among them.

That matters on a park-day morning: a plant-based breakfast is almost always a short walk from your room.

How did we count, and what does it miss?

We read the menu behind each of the 278 Disney World restaurant pages on this site through Disney's own menu data; 275 answered. 44 of them file dishes under a "Plant-Based" heading, 139 dishes in all. That is a floor, not the total.

Disney also marks plant-based items with the leaf icon inside ordinary menu sections, and its menu data does not carry the icon, so any restaurant that marks plant-based dishes only with a leaf is missing here.
