Guests who want the shortest possible walk to Disney Springs, which this hotel genuinely has. Anyone using Hilton Honors points or status, where the cash comparison changes. Trips built around eating and drinking rather than parks. And business travellers, since the on-site dining and meeting space are the best on the strip.
Who it’s wrong for
Anyone paying cash and comparing carefully, because the neighbours are cheaper in total and better reviewed. Guests who care about room condition — the criticism here is specific and consistent. Drivers, given the highest parking charge on the road. And anyone without a car on a park-heavy schedule, because the shuttle is hourly like everyone else's.

Only at a low rate, and check the alternatives first.
The location is the best on the strip — closest to Disney Springs — and the restaurants are the best on the strip. Those are real. But at roughly $46 resort fee plus $38 parking you are adding about $84 a night to whatever the room costs, which is the highest total on Hotel Plaza Boulevard, in exchange for rooms that the most thorough reviewer of these hotels ranks last and calls dated and worn.
The Buena Vista Palace is across the road with better-reviewed rooms, a better pool and free self-parking. The Drury Plaza has no resort fee and includes two meals a day. Both are cheaper in total and both are rated higher. Book this one when its rate is low enough to absorb $84 of extras, or when Hilton Honors status makes it worth it, and not otherwise.

Disney Tourist Blog's verdict after staying across the strip is blunt: the rooms are "an unequivocal disappointment", and "they're dated, worn, and out-of-place in a hotel bearing the Hilton name". They rank it last of the Disney Springs hotels and say better options exist at comparable prices.
