As a room, probably. This was the most stylish building on Hotel Plaza Boulevard before the rebrand and the rooms and pool deck are the same ones, now under Marriott with Bonvoy points and status attached — which is a genuine advantage for anyone who collects them.

As a total, be careful. Self-parking at about $30 plus a resort fee reported around $50 would put this near the top of the strip's charges, in a market where the Buena Vista Palace parks you free and the Drury Plaza charges no resort fee and feeds you twice a day.

So: a good pick for Marriott members and for anyone who wants the design-led option, provided you confirm the fees first. If the fee is at the reported level and you are paying cash, the neighbours are better value.

Contemporary rooms with desks and laptop-compatible safes, a spa for the end of the day, and Disney Springs a walk away. This was always the design-led hotel on the strip and the public spaces reflect it. Against that, there is no dedicated work space, and the Drury Plaza and DoubleTree Suites both do more for a working trip — free wifi with no fee at one, a separate living room at the other.
