We haven’t timed this resort yet. A door-to-gate time goes here once we have walked the route with a stopwatch at least five times — a single reading hides the variation that actually makes people miss a breakfast reservation. How we measure.

Who it’s right for
Families optimising total cost, where two included meals a day change the arithmetic more than the room rate does. Anyone with a car, which removes the hourly-shuttle objection. Longer stays, where the free breakfast and evening buffet compound. Disney Springs-focused trips. And anyone who wants a new, well-kept room without paying deluxe money.
Who it’s wrong for
Guests without a car who want to be in the parks at rope drop every day, because an hourly shuttle is not a Disney bus. Anyone who came for theming — this is a good chain hotel and makes no other claim. Guests expecting the Disney Dining Plan, which does not apply at any non-Disney hotel. And anyone booking 21 to 27 September 2026, when the pool is scheduled to close.
Is it worth the money?
On total cost, yes, and it is the clearest case on Hotel Plaza Boulevard. No resort fee is worth $26 to $46 a night against the neighbours before you count the food, and free hot breakfast plus a free evening buffet with beer and wine is worth considerably more than that for a family.
Against a Disney value resort, the comparison is closer than it looks. A Pop Century room and a Drury room are similar money once Disney's food is priced in, and Drury gives you the same 30-minute early theme park entry. What Disney gives you back is proper theming, Skyliner transport, and buses every ten to twenty minutes instead of hourly.
So: Drury if you are optimising the bill and will use the included food. A Disney value if the transport and the theming are what you came for.
What the rooms are actually like
Standard rooms have two queens or a king, with a microwave, a fridge, a safe and free wifi as standard. There are 602 of them across a tower, so availability is better here than at the smaller neighbours.
Drury does not publish a square-footage figure and we have not found a sourced one, so this page does not print one. What the rooms are is unremarkable and well kept — a modern American chain hotel, comfortable, with none of the wear reviewers report at some of the older Hotel Plaza Boulevard properties.

Which room should you request?
On Hotel Plaza Boulevard, the strip of third-party hotels inside Walt Disney World that sits along the edge of Disney Springs. The walk to Disney Springs is short and pleasant; walking to a theme park is not possible from any hotel on this road.
Transport is an hourly bus shuttle to all four theme parks, which is the shared arrangement across the Disney Springs Resort Area hotels and is the thing to plan around: hourly is not the ten-minute Disney cadence, and missing one costs you.

Drury opened this property in 2020 and it is the newest hotel on Hotel Plaza Boulevard, which shows in the condition of the rooms against neighbours that reviewers describe as dated. The no-resort-fee position has held while the rest of the strip has raised theirs — the neighbours now charge between about $26 and $46 a night. Note the pool is scheduled to close 21 to 27 September 2026, with the splash pad staying open.

excellent
Quietly one of the best options on Disney property for a working trip. Free wifi with no resort fee attached, a microwave and fridge in every room, free breakfast and a free evening meal so you never have to break the day to find food, and a large lobby with seating. Disney Springs is a walk away when you want a change of scene. What it lacks is any reason to be here beyond the practicalities.
