What does Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique cost on a Disney cruise?

$59.99 to about $230 plus tax, depending on the package. Disney Cruise Line shows the current prices only in your reservation and the Navigator app, not on a public page, so the figures below come from two outlets eleven months apart, and they disagree on two of the five.

The two captain packages are the ones to check. Either Disney raised them by about $10 between October 2025 and August 2026, or one of the two sources is wrong. We cannot tell which from outside a booking, so both are printed. Your reservation shows the real figure when your window opens.

Which Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique package should you book on a cruise?

For a princess look, the $119.99 Fairy Tale package with a dress packed from home. It carries the whole visible makeover: the hair, the makeup, the nail polish and the sash. The $229.99 Kingdom package adds a gown, crown and wand, so the $110 step is a costume, and a costume bought before the trip costs less and fits the same child.

Adventures of a Disney Dad gives the same advice for the ships as for Magic Kingdom.

Packing a dress also dodges the stock problem at sea. The same writer says inventory is more limited than at Disney World, that the smallest and largest sizes sell out first, and that the Wish, Dream and Fantasy carry more styles than the Magic and Wonder.

The Palmetto Mom, a travel adviser and mother of four, suggests comfortable shoes for younger children, who may not want to walk the ship in princess shoes.

The $59.99 Adventure package is the one that suits a child who wants a sword more than sparkle.

When can you book Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on a Disney cruise?

When your onboard-activity window opens, and only once the cruise is paid in full. Disney's rules put paid activities between 75 and 130 days out, by Castaway Club level. The Disney Cruise Line Blog's calculator gives the tiers:

• Silver — 90 days
• Gold — 105 days
• Platinum — 120 days
• Pearl — 123 days
• Concierge — 130 days

What are the rules for a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique appointment at sea?

Disney Cruise Line's own FAQ pages set the terms, read on 14 September 2026.

• Time — Allow one hour; the makeover takes about 45 minutes
• Arrival — Ready to go 15 minutes before the appointment
• Cancellation — At least 24 hours before, or a fee is charged; the same for a no-show
• Changes online — Up to 3 days before embarkation, then on board
• Hair and nails — Hair combed or brushed through; clean, bare nails
• Skin — No scalp or skin conditions that could interrupt the service
• Supervision — Guests 17 and under accompanied by an adult 18 or over
• Upgrades — Possible on board at the Boutique, but Disney asks for changes well ahead

Disney does not state the cancellation fee for the ships. At Magic Kingdom it is $10, charged to the card on file for a no-show or a cancellation inside 24 hours.

How is Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on a cruise different from Disney World?

Same three core packages, quieter setting, fewer dresses, and two looks you cannot get on land.

Most write-ups agree the cruise version is easier to book and calmer. Adventures of a Disney Dad puts it down to far less demand than at Magic Kingdom, and The Palmetto Mom calls it quieter and more relaxed than in the parks.

Check the deck plan for your sailing; locations can move in a refit. The Pirates League shares the space, but Disney says it runs only on Pirate Party Nights on select itineraries and not at all on the Disney Adventure.

Is Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique worth it on a Disney cruise?

For a child who has asked for it by name, usually yes, and more easily than at Magic Kingdom. There is no park day to give up: an hour on a sea day costs a pool session, not a ride. The appointment is also easier to get, and the setting is calmer.

The Palmetto Mom's verdict is that it is worth it for most families whose child has princess, prince or pirate dreams.

What makes it good value is the package choice, not the setting. The $119.99 Fairy Tale package with a dress from home is the whole makeover for about half the Kingdom price. Time it before an event the look will be seen at.

Skip it if the child is lukewarm. Disney also asks that children be free of any scalp or skin condition that could interrupt the makeover.
