Before the Southampton run, the Wish arrives on a six-night one-way cruise from Barcelona, 17 to 23 July, calling at Gibraltar, Lisbon and Vigo, from $4,192 for two. Those are opening prices, and they rise as sailings fill.
Which Southampton sailing is the best value?
The short ones, per night, and the British Isles and Northern Europe weeks in September if you want seven nights. Worked from WDW News Today's opening prices, the three-night Belgium and Amsterdam cruises come to about $743 and $747 a night for two, and the seven-night British Isles and Northern Europe cruises about $654 and $638.
The Norwegian fjords are the premium: $7,141 and $7,255 for seven nights, a little over $1,000 a night for two, and they fall in the school summer holidays. Hellesylt, on the second of them, is a new port for Disney Cruise Line.2
Why does the Disney Wish in Europe matter?
The Wish's 2027 season is the first time a Wish-class ship has been based in Europe, Travel Weekly reported. For British families it means the newest kind of Disney ship, with its Marvel, Frozen and Star Wars spaces, without a transatlantic flight.
Earlier European seasons used the Dream and Fantasy; the Dream sailed from Southampton, Barcelona and Civitavecchia in summer 2026, according to our ship pages.
