How much is a Disney World annual pass in 2026?

Four tiers, priced before tax since Disney's October 2025 increase. Renewal prices are for current or recent passholders.

Every figure above is Disney's own, read from its purchase and renewal pages on 16 and 17 September 2026. Florida's 6.5% sales tax comes on top, taking the Incredi-Pass to about $1,735.

Monthly payments are for Florida residents only. Disney's payment plan ($205 down, then 12 payments at 0% APR) is "only available to Florida residents with valid ID", and you must be 18 to use it. That includes the Incredi-Pass, the one tier anyone can buy, so a visitor from out of state pays the full price upfront.

A disagreement that is now settled. One outlet printed the Pixie Dust Pass at $469 after the October 2025 increase, against $489 everywhere else. Disney's own page says $489, so that is the number — $469 was the price it rose from.

Expect another rise. Disney last raised pass prices in October 2025, and another increase was expected during 2026.⁶

How many days do you need to make the Incredi-Pass worth it?

The Incredi-Pass break-even depends on how your days fall, because multi-day tickets get much cheaper per day. Here the Incredi-Pass, about $1,735 with tax, is set against the ticket totals on our tickets page, tax included, for 2026 dates.

The ranges run from the cheapest to the most expensive dates. Tom Bricker reaches the same place: for two trips totalling ten days or fewer, tickets come out slightly cheaper than the pass, and the pass's discounts can close the gap.⁵

What does a Disney World annual pass include?

Every tier includes the Park Hopper option, standard theme park parking, and discounts on dining, merchandise, events and recreation.

Two things once included now cost extra, at $109 plus tax each for the year. The Water Park and Sports option covers whichever water park is open, Oak Trail golf, FootGolf, one round at each miniature golf course before 4:00 PM, and ESPN Wide World of Sports on event days — with no blockout dates.

You still need park reservations, and how many you can hold at once depends on the tier: five on the Incredi-Pass and Sorcerer Pass, four on the Pirate Pass, three on the Pixie Dust Pass. Disney also lets Passholders in without a reservation on a good-to-go day, or after 2:00 PM on any day — except Saturdays and Sundays at Magic Kingdom.

Which dates does each pass block out?

Blockout dates decide which tier you want, and Disney publishes the actual calendar, not just the rule. Here is every blocked day it lists from now to 30 September 2027. A blocked day is blocked at all four parks at once.

The Pirate Pass dates, in full: 10–12 October 2026, 20–28 November 2026, 19 December 2026–2 January 2027, 16–18 January 2027, 13–15 February 2027, 13 March–1 April 2027, 29–31 May 2027, 1–4 July 2027 and 4–6 September 2027. The three-day weekends are the Monday holidays: Columbus Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day and Labor Day.

The Pixie Dust Pass is a weekday pass. Not one Saturday or Sunday in the calendar is open to it. Its holiday runs are slightly longer than the Pirate Pass's: 20–29 November, 18 December–3 January, 13 March–4 April and 1–5 July.

At $489 it is the cheapest tier by a wide margin, but if you work Monday to Friday and were picturing Saturday mornings at Magic Kingdom, it does not do what you are buying it for. The Pirate Pass at $869 is the cheapest tier that admits you on a weekend.

October 2027 is not a blockout, and we have not printed it as one. Disney's calendar marks 1–23 October 2027 as blocked for every pass, the Incredi-Pass included, and Disney says the Incredi-Pass has no blockout dates. That is a calendar Disney has not loaded yet, not a rule, so check it again before booking that month.

Outlets that checked in June 2026 said no 2027 calendar was out at all. It now runs to the end of September 2027.

What is the passholder discount, actually? 10% or 20%?

Disney's own page says "save on select dining" and "up to 20% off select merchandise", which tells you almost nothing. Behind it sits a directory of every single location that honours the pass — 276 of them — and read as a whole it resolves into four rules:

• Dining is 10%. Not usually, not typically: 90 of the 91 dining locations are 10%. The lone exception is Joffrey's Coffee & Tea, at 20%.
• Disney's own shops are 20%. Outside Disney Springs, 90 of 94 merchandise locations are 20% — every park, the resort hotels, both water parks.
• Disney Springs is where it drops. Of the 48 merchandise spots there, 32 pay 10%, because they are other companies' shops: Kate Spade, Columbia, Sunglass Hut, UNDER ARMOUR, Pandora, LEGO. The Disney-run stores in the same complex — World of Disney, the Art of Disney, Once Upon a Toy — are still 20%.
• Tours and experiences are 15%, and 12 of them extend the discount to the Passholder and up to 3 guests — Keys to the Kingdom, Wild Africa Trek, DiveQuest, Savor the Savanna, the Starlight Safari, both miniature golf courses.

So the honest way to think about the discount is: a tenth off what you eat, a fifth off what Disney sells you, and a tenth off the mall. It is real money on a merchandise-heavy trip and close to noise on a dining-heavy one.

Two conditions apply everywhere. You must show the Annual Pass ID inside the My Disney Experience app together with a government photo ID at the time of payment — a physical pass card alone is not what Disney asks for.

And the discount cannot be combined with any other discount, offer or promotion, which quietly rules it out on exactly the deals people most want to stack it on. Dining discounts also exclude tax and gratuity, special events and dining packages.

Who should buy a Disney World annual pass?

Three kinds of visitor, in our reading of the numbers.

Florida residents are the easy case. The Pixie Dust Pass, about $521 with tax, costs less than any four-day ticket, if its blockouts suit you.

Disney Vacation Club members can buy the Sorcerer Pass at $1,099, $530 less than the Incredi-Pass for what Disney Tourist Blog reckons is about two weeks fewer days of access.

Everyone else should buy the Incredi-Pass only for two trips of a week or three shorter ones inside a year, or for a long stay where passholder hotel discounts matter. Those room discounts run about 10 to 15% better than the public offers. One long trip is always cheaper on a multi-day ticket.

Is the Disney World annual pass renewal discount worth waiting for?

Only if you already hold a pass or held one recently. Disney publishes the renewal saving on its own renewal page: $250 off an Incredi-Pass, $170 off a Sorcerer Pass, $120 off a Pirate Pass and $90 off a Pixie Dust Pass.

For a second year the sums improve: a renewed Incredi-Pass, about $1,469 with tax, costs less than two five-day trips at mid-range prices, where a new one does not.

Renew or upgrade? The trap is the expiration date

Renewal is open from 60 days before your pass expires until 30 days after, and a renewed pass runs for a year from the day after the old one ended — so renewing early costs you nothing.

Upgrading is the one to watch. If you are outside the renewal window and want to move up a tier, Disney takes the price difference in full and the new pass keeps the original pass's expiration date. You pay a full tier difference for whatever time was left.

With two months to run, that is most of the money for a small fraction of the year. Wait for the renewal window and renew into the tier you want instead.
