What Lightning Lane options does Hollywood Studios have?

• Single Pass — Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
• Multi Pass, top group (pick one) — Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, Slinky Dog Dash
• Multi Pass, other group — Toy Story Mania!, Tower of Terror, Alien Swirling Saucers, Star Tours and five shows, including Indiana Jones and Beauty and the Beast
• Premier Pass — One entry to every Lightning Lane experience in the park, Rise of the Resistance included

You take one Multi Pass ride from the top group and the other two, or all three, from the second group, then book more as you use them, subject to availability.

How much is Lightning Lane at Hollywood Studios?

Premier Pass ran $249 early in the week and $289 on Fridays and Saturdays in September; Multi Pass was $22 on the cheapest days and $27 on Saturdays. The Columbus Day weekend lifted Multi Pass to $37 on 9 and 10 October. Our Lightning Lane prices page updates daily.

Does the Rise of the Resistance Lightning Lane sell out?

Not in our record. Across 5 to 15 September 2026, Rise of the Resistance's Single Pass was still on sale at every check, while TRON's at Magic Kingdom was gone by mid-afternoon on 9 of those 11 days and Guardians of the Galaxy's at EPCOT on 8.

That makes Rise the one Single Pass we would leave until the day, if you want to see how the queue looks first.

It may not need buying at all. Its posted wait averaged 49 minutes in our record, and it eased to 39 by 7 p.m. and 29 by 8.

Which three Multi Pass rides should you book at Hollywood Studios?

Slinky Dog Dash, then Toy Story Mania! and Tower of Terror. Our posted-wait record for 5 to 15 September 2026, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., against Queue-Times' averages for 2025 and 2026:

Slinky Dog Dash is the longest queue in the park on both measures, and it is included with Multi Pass. Rock 'n' Roller Coaster is the strong second choice from the same group if Slinky is gone. Both sources rank Toy Story Mania! and Tower of Terror as the second group's best; Star Tours averaged 6 minutes, so skip it.

When does each Lightning Lane save the most at Hollywood Studios?

Slinky Dog Dash is long all day and worst from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., which is when to spend its pass. Rock 'n' Roller Coaster barely moves from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tower of Terror is the odd one: in our record it was longer at 8 p.m. than at 9 a.m., so ride it early rather than saving it for the evening.

Is Premier Pass worth it at Hollywood Studios?

Seldom. At $249 to $289 a person in September, Premier Pass adds Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Runaway Railway and Smugglers Run to what a cheaper combination covers.

A Multi Pass for Slinky, Toy Story Mania! and Tower of Terror plus the Rise of the Resistance Single Pass cost $42 to $51 on September dates, and covered about three hours and 10 minutes of average posted waits.

Premier Pass's extra top-group rides add about two hours on those averages, for roughly $200 to $240 a person on top. That is a luxury, not a plan.
