What Lightning Lane options does Magic Kingdom have?

From Disney's own Lightning Lane page:

• Single Pass — Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and TRON Lightcycle / Run, each sold separately
• Multi Pass, top group (pick one) — Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan's Flight, Space Mountain, Tiana's Bayou Adventure
• Multi Pass, other group — Thirteen more, from Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean to Buzz Lightyear and Winnie the Pooh
• Premier Pass — One entry to every Lightning Lane experience in the park, both Single Pass rides included

Multi Pass lets you take one ride from the top group and your other two, or all three, from the second. After using one, you can book another from either group, subject to availability. Tiana's Bayou Adventure closes for refurbishment on 2 November 2026 and is expected back in December, Disney says.

How much is Lightning Lane at Magic Kingdom?

Multi Pass and Premier Pass cost more here than at any other Disney World park. From our own record of Disney's daily prices, read since 5 September 2026:

In September Multi Pass was cheapest on Tuesdays, at $23, and $29 on Saturdays. The Columbus Day weekend pushed it to $39 on 10 and 11 October, and Premier Pass reached $399 on 5 October. Prices are per person; our Lightning Lane prices page updates daily.

How quickly do the TRON and Seven Dwarfs Single Passes sell out?

TRON's very quickly. In our record for 5 to 15 September 2026, the TRON Single Pass showed as sold out at our afternoon check, around 3:25 p.m., on 9 of the 11 days. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train's was sold out at the same check on 5 of the 11, and for Sunday 20 September it was already gone when we looked five days earlier.

So on almost any day, TRON's pass is something to buy when your booking window opens, not on the day. Disney's window is seven days ahead for its hotel guests and three days for everyone else.

Which three Multi Pass rides should you book at Magic Kingdom?

Peter Pan's Flight, then Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin and the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Our posted-wait record for 5 to 15 September 2026, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., against Queue-Times' averages for 2025 and 2026:

Peter Pan's Flight is the clear top-group pick on both measures. Below it the sources part company: in our September record Buzz Lightyear ran 10 minutes above its long-run average, level with Big Thunder, so it earns a slot over Haunted Mansion. Pirates of the Caribbean, at 15 minutes, and everything shorter is not worth one.

When should you use each Lightning Lane at Magic Kingdom?

Hour by hour from our September record, in minutes:

TRON gets longer as the day goes on, peaking at 68 minutes around 8 p.m., so its pass is worth most in the evening, which is also when its canopy lights up. Tiana's Bayou Adventure is a midday problem: 16 minutes at 10 a.m. and 40 by 1 p.m., so book it for the early afternoon or ride it first thing.

Is Premier Pass worth it at Magic Kingdom?

Only if the price is small next to your trip. At $299 to $399 a person, it buys one entry to every Lightning Lane experience, but most of the second group post under 20 minutes in our record, so a day's real saving is concentrated in six or seven rides.

The cheaper route covers the longest queues: a Multi Pass for Peter Pan, Buzz and Pooh plus both Single Passes cost $53 to $62 a person on September dates, for about three and a quarter hours of average posted waits. Premier Pass adds Big Thunder, Jungle Cruise, Space Mountain, Tiana's and Haunted Mansion, about two more hours, for roughly $240 to $320 on top.
