Disney World fireworks, night by night

The nights with no Magic Kingdom fireworks

On 21 nights Disney lists no Happily Ever After and instead a party fireworks show, marked as a special ticketed event: Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. On 13 more it is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. They are exactly the nights on Disney’s party calendars, as our party pages list them: the two sources agree night for night. A day ticket on those nights buys no fireworks at Magic Kingdom. EPCOT keeps Luminous every night. Hollywood Studios has its own party, Jollywood Nights, on 6 of the nights, and on those Fantasmic! is a single early show.

What time are the fireworks?

• Happily Ever After, Magic Kingdom: 9:30pm to 3 October; 9pm from 5 October; 8pm from 1 November. Disney gives it 18 minutes.
• Luminous The Symphony of Us, EPCOT: 9pm on 72 of 72 nights. Wikipedia gives it 17 minutes.
• Fantasmic!, Hollywood Studios: 8pm and 9:30pm every night, on 71 of 72 nights, 30 minutes each. On the 6 Jollywood Nights party nights there is one early show instead, at 6:30pm. Disney’s page for the show gives 8:30 and 10:00pm; its night-by-night schedule is what we list.
• Disney Starlight, Magic Kingdom’s nighttime parade, is on only 8 of the 72 nights, the last on 10 October.

Times change, and every show is outdoors and can be cancelled for bad weather. Check the app on the day.

Where to watch

Happily Ever After is built for Main Street, U.S.A., where Disney projects onto the buildings as well as the castle. Disney says parts of Frontierland and Tomorrowland are less crowded but miss the projections.

Luminous plays over the whole of World Showcase Lagoon. Disney Tourist Blog’s rule is that if you can see the sky and the water, you are in good shape; its favourites include the second floor at Japan, and Sunshine Whispers ranks Japan first. Sunshine Whispers says to avoid the crowded front of the park, and Disney Tourist Blog notes that Spaceship Earth blocks the view near the monorail track.

Fantasmic! has seats. Disney opens the amphitheatre 90 minutes before each show and says to arrive early for a seat; the front rows can get wet.

Paying for a better view

• Magic Kingdom dessert parties. The pre-party and after-party are $99 an adult in two guides updated in August 2026, with standing room in the Plaza Garden, and that is what Melissa paid in February. Seats & Sweets, with a seat on the Tomorrowland Terrace patio, is $114 in one guide and $119 in the other. Park admission is extra.
• Fireworks cruises. A private boat for up to 10 costs from $499 plus tax on Disney’s page, from the Contemporary for Magic Kingdom or the Yacht & Beach Club for EPCOT. Book up to 60 days ahead; cancel inside 24 hours and you pay in full.
• Dining packages. Disney lists a Fantasmic! dining package with VIP seating, a Luminous package at Spice Road Table, and Celebration at the Top at the Contemporary for Happily Ever After.
