What it’s actually like

You walk at your own speed. No ride vehicle, no motion, nothing enclosed. The water reacts to movement and several features will spray you — lightly, but enough to matter if you are carrying a camera or heading straight to a restaurant.

Do you get wet at Journey of Water?

Lightly, and only as much as you choose. The water reacts to you as you pass and children deliberately provoke it; adults walking through at a normal pace get a few splashes. Nobody comes out soaked unless they were trying to.

How long does Journey of Water take?

About fifteen minutes at a normal pace, and there is no queue — you walk in whenever you like. Children double back to retrigger the effects, so allow longer than you would for yourself.

Is Journey of Water accessible?

Yes, in a wheelchair or an ECV, with step-free paths throughout and no transfer. One caution worth knowing: the surfaces are wet in places by design, which is worth factoring in for anyone unsteady on their feet.

Is Journey of Water worth doing?
